The Meat Smiths

I have been using this Butcher Shop for at least 15 Years. But now find it unaffordable. For some reason the owners have increased prices that don’t match other Butchers.

Highly recommend their pinwheels! So delicious. Staff were super friendly:) Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

I have been a Customer of this outlet for many years. Great service and great variety. BUT. Went today to another Butcher at another shopping Center at Tweed South? Budget Rump Steak? $18 per Kilo. Cooked it tonight? Tasted wonderful. Probably better than the advertised price at the Meat Smith. WHY

Happened on this butcher by chance whilst on holidays. Bought sausages, wagu patties, steak and bacon.all were incredibly tasty and the steak was tender and flavoursome. Great service too.

I bought some satay chicken skewers yesterday I cooked them tonight.there was no sauce and they were very dry. I won't shop there again. I will ring tomorrow and let them know. Very disappointed.

Full of flavour beef sausage roll, you know its good when you dont even need Tommy Sauce to wash it down! Would go back again for another sausage roll any day.

We own a food trailer and source all of our meat from here, nothing but high quality meat, we receive many compliments on the quality and freshness of meat we get, our food trailer is Beats N Feeds, if you don't believe me come and try. The team is awesome and they support a lot of local businesses, not sure who owned it before or what customer service was before but I've had nothing but great experience and good customer experience and most importantly fresh meat.

Watch out! Bought beef short ribs and thought that was expensive and said so. Butcher didn’t recheck. Checked weight when I got home and got charged a third more than the kilo price. Expensive beef.

Very disappointed in this store. Honey soy chicken wings sign says $8.99 per kg. Brought a kg of it only to be charged $13.99 for 950gm. Thanks for ripping me off

My son works there so if you want meat cut and sausages made using outrageously clean equipment buy on Tuesday and Friday morning!

The meat I bought was good, but they guy who served me didn't use gloves! I still bought the meat though but was very unhappy with his response when I challenged him on why he didn't wear gloves. He said I should have asked him to. I disagree, so on reflection I will now never go back there in protest. Wearing gloves to serve meat should be policy.

Terrible, got 4 different flavours of the the gourmet sausages and they were full of large chucks of fat and gristle. I swear one bit of “meat” was eyeball.

Last time I go here food poisoning for last 3 days from wagyu beef patty. Took straight home froze ate a week later will have to throw the rest away.

Bought mince Saturday afternoon and went to use last night (Tuesday) and it was off. Live 5 mins from shops and went straight into fridge.

This is not the first time I have had poor meat/mince. Trying to support local business over big supermarkets. Very disappointing

Very poor quality beef sausages - BIG pieces of gristle, no beef flavour and SUPER fatty. The Woolies Signature Selection at the same price a much better choice. Thought a butcher with a name The Meat smiths would offer a better product than the supermarket!

Very bad meat used to be good before new owners bought leg of lamb so tough and stringe pork chops so tough fed to dog next door very disappointing considering the price.

Bought there sausages. Full of gristle and fell apart like a mess. Will be going back to the local Lovedays at treetops.
