I booked two rooms and both were not up to the mark. They had bugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes and crawling insects. The patio door in one of the rooms was broken and no fly screen to stop flies to come in. There were lizards at the entrance of the residential building. I checked in right after a major storm hit the area. There was power outage in the area with no cafes, restaurants open. So I had to get the frozen food from the IGA. The hotel manager denied my request to use oven to heat up the food. It was terrible experience in this property during such unprecedented situation. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

This place is a hairs breadth away from being a 4 star hotel.

The Victorian-esq style rooms are a pleasure to stay in with thick carpets, comfortable and firm mattress on a four post bed and the room furnished in style with the Victorian theme. The shower has notably good pressure and is hot.

The hotel gardens and older style buildings offer a pleasant aesthetic to the stay. This particularly highlighted in the Cafe and bar that open up to a deck showing a lovely view down the mountain.

The key reason for my 5 stars is the foresight of having an industrial generator. We stayed during the Christmas day storms where power was knocked out for the entire region. Using the hotels power and WiFi connection allowed us to contact loved ones when there was not mobile reception.

Waited over an hour for 2 main meals prawns and bugs with people being served before us and had arrived after us the wait staff were very rude to my partner with every excuse apart from the truth that we had been forgotten about she was an older women who has no place in that role-position. As for the accommodation it is as the pictures show it was very clean and tidy very comfortable with stunning old charm ️

The grounds are quite beautiful and the staff are quite friendly, but it's obvious that there's a lack of care. There was peeling paint in the bathroom, cracked tiles and bulging tiles as well. There's also lots of cobwebs everywhere (especially the rafters), inconsistent/clashing colour paint jobs and while the theme is kind of Victorian, there's a massive eye sore of a modern painting in the first room when you enter the accomodation part of The Manor. If you're not fussy, then it's an okay place to stay at, but if you like everything consistent, well maintained and hate terrible paint jobs, then I suggest avoiding The Manor. Not to mention that while the food quality and quantity is quite nice, the menu options are very limited, especially the evening meal menu.

Went to Mount Tamborine for a day out and stumbled across The Manor for lunch. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We all really enjoyed our meals which were excellent value. Children enjoyed running around on the grass area and playground. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely experience that didn't break the bank for a large family.

We had a great night with good food and nice people around. For more than 2 yrs we are locals now and it's a pity that it took us so long to find this place. We'll be back for sure.

We had lunch here, beautiful roast lamb and a vegetarian frittata with chips. Tasty food at a affordable price! We loved all the painting, it felt like an art gallery with so much to look at. We will definitely be back!

Sunday Breakfast was a delicious fabulous helping of
Poached eggs on toast, hash browns, mushrooms, bacon, small sausages and delicious grilled tomato…. All cooked to perfection and flavour combined.
Large Flat White Coffee. Delightful.
My seating was in a wide booth perfect for my private business attention,
The Manor is a beautiful Colonial building as to accommodating happy friendly staff - thank you sincerely.priced @ $22.00 a bargain.

We stopped by here to have delicious hot chocolate and chocolate cake before the walk in the rainforest for glowworm tour. The desserts were amazing and the place was marvelous too. Originally built in 1889, the house has pleasing old school aesthetics. Highly recommend this place, atleast for desserts when you are around Curtis falls or Glow worm tour.

The place is beautiful, lost in time. We had lunch on the terrace, the view is lovely, calm, peaceful. Magpies flew very close and watched us eat but never tried to steal our food. A Kookaburra also came close and had a laugh.
The service was well executed and the food was ok. Was expecting French dishes as it says French restaurant but the only French thing was the camembert sauce for one of the dishes. Still, everything was lovely and I highly recommend that place.
We didn't even book and just showed up at 12: 00pm, the place was empty so perfect for us.

Incredible Victorian style rooms. Food at the restaurant was great. Staff all very friendly. Location was so close to the gallery walk that you do not need to try and find a park. Well priced and we will definitely be back!

Had lunch at The Manor. Great service with friendly staff, FANTASTIC menu with really yummy food at a very good price. Many interesting rooms to dine in with lots of art and local history on the walls. Just up the street from Tamborine Mountain's main gallery walk. Highly recommend going there to eat.

The same as everyone here, I booked the accommodation solely based on reviews. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a thick layer of dust underneath our bed, which was visible even without us having to bend over to look for it.
The groundsman was lovely, he greeted us and asked if we needed help, this lovely guy vacuumed the thick layer of dust (looks like it's months worth of dust) for us. OK. Sometimes things go bad - well that's OK right, we can still have a good holiday, I thought for the sake of our family holiday. We have paid over $200 plus for the overnight stay.

I decided to just relax and took a shower, it came to my disbelief when the shampoo tube was filled with water. There was no shampoo inside.
We rang the management and instead of being compensated (at least with new pair of 'proper' shampoo so that we can wash our hair!) or give us a decent apology straight away, all we got is
"ring wotif and that's Ur best chance. '

I said look, last week our hotel mucked up our booking and charged us $500 extra but we still gave them 5 star reviews, why? ! Because the management team responded professionally and timely, and compensate us for the discomfort we went through! (at least for a coffee - it doesn't cost much for a cup of complimentary coffee, and they were being very apologetic for the situation) We can overlook bad things just because we were given good customer service by this hotel.

Then 'the Manor' manager responded 'oh you just want free stuff, don't you? ' You accused my staff to fill the shampoo with water'

Well first of all, anyone who'd spent over $200 just for an overnight stay to get free stuff is plain stupid.
I know business r doing tough right now but cmon. This is the time where generosity needs to be shown more than anything esp in hospitality business.

The least they could do is apologise sincerely instead of accusing us back of lying, or asking stuff for free, and try to rectify the situation with professionalism and customer service! We don't demand much (considering how filthy the place is) what we want is good customer service.

But I hope that the hospitality industry can learn that. Yeah it's been tough, but customers have also paid their hard-earned money (more than $200) that they deserve a decent standard of hospitality.
