Bought 2 punnets of West Island Kinas at this shop for $26 each. Punnets had more water in them than actual kina. COVID has done more than just make people sick it's made them greedy and stingey too. Disappointing.

First and last time we will order from here. Just ordered a scoop of chips some whiting and a pineapple fritter. The chips aren't cooked and their hard, the whiting isn't cooked properly still half frozen the crumb is awful and the pineapple fritter is soggy. Waste of money.

Well signage towards the M1 attracted us. Fresh kina.

Well get home for dinner, and the tub of kina 1/2 full topped up with water.definitely not fresh either.

I'm a local and like the standard cod fish n chip shops sell been having it since the 90s Being cod the meat is tougher and tasty.ordered the cod fillet battered and Their cod is a wet sloshy bassa fillet sold as cod

Nothing fresh about this place. Kilo and half of rotten ocean prawns, some $55 later, nothing but embarrassment after 2 guests became ill on xmas day. The prawns had an offensive smell and were slimy on closer inspection.still in the fridge waiting to head to the tip! Never again!

Honestly one of the worst fish and chip shops I've ever eaten at. The staff are lovely, but the food was far too greasy, dripping in oil and not only had a funny after taste, but we were in pain the rest of the night from the fish, calamari, and potato scallops.

We've been coming here for years but unfortunately last time we ended up with food poisoning which knocked us out for almost a week (10/12/2020 on Thursday evening).

We're not sure if it was the Orange roughy or the tiger prawns. We gave the left overs to our dogs (straight after we ate) and they too got sick and made them vomit everywhere as well.

Really disappointing as we normally love the seafood from there and haven't had problems in the past, and it's making us think twice about going back.

Disappointed by the very high prices this year, particularly the lobsters which are a lot less elsewhere.

Not the best service. Some food wasn't cooked some perfect. My son used to work for fish shop and told owner his oil was too hot so wasn't cooking through he took it on board and cooked more to replace order.

We had fish and chips here tonight. Very generous amount of fish - quite adequate for our family. And fresh lemon. Quite greasy but overall - I’d say we’ll be back. Thank you

Fresh and delicious! Friendly service with reasonable prices. Handy location just off the m1. Cooked onsite or take some fillets home and make your own creation

The chips were nice but the fish was over cooked and rubbery sea scallops was nice but very oily and the potato scallops were over cooked and full of oil couldn't eat them as it made us sick in the guts. Wont be going back there

Service was quick and efficient, food was cooked well but there was very limited stock on the day we went (Wednesday) Would definitely go back on a weekend to see if there was a difference.

Best fish and chips in the area. Good prices, friendly staff, and fresh fish. Consistently good for the last two years.

First impressions r important. So many food outlets forget to clean the footpath outside their shop & all door handles r a covid spreader. I am sure the interior is up to health & safety standards.

First time buying from here on Friday, I found the staff nice great selection of seafood and my meal was very enjoyable, I will be returning

Fresh fish close to our work, we had takeaway fish and chips and was really yummy. We also had some fresh fish to cook at home, and was really nice. Will come back again thank you!
