The Goomeri Bakery

Not nearly as nice as it used to be and I got sick the night after my last lunch from there although can't be certain it was the sausage roll. So I thought maybe I'll stick with sweets if getting there for late lunch in future. This happened a while back and today I went in there to get something sweet but the flies on the sweets cupboard put me off so I didn't get anything.

Absolutely fabulous bakery. We had the best veggie pasties ever. Gorgeous filling of real fresh veggies and a beautifully delicate pastry casing. Worth the stop.

This was an absolute GEM of a find on our drive north from Brisbane - we’d prefer to go inland every time now just for the excuse to pop in!

Cannot go pass this place. Best pies in town. All travellers stop here on their way through which was evident with the large number of people in the shop. Good friendly service as well.

The food at Goomeri Bakery is the best you can get in country areas. Normally bakeries in the country have tired, uninspired food/meals. The Goomeri Bakery has lifted the standard that all country bakeries should follow. Keep up the great work! Highly recommend.

Great little bakery for the area. The pasteries are nice, and absolutely huge! Only complaint is they can be a touch dry, but that's really not a biggie, especially considering you'll not find a better bakery within a few hours drive of Goomeri

This is no joke the best bakery in Qld, it's a must to stop in and get a feed, some jam/chutney and say hello to the lovely people who work there.

The most delicious quiche I think I have ever eaten, full of fresh veggies and eggs, the pasty was light and yummy! I highly recommend taking a drive up to Goomeri it is an amazing town the bakery is world class! Beautiful town as well!

Lots of goodies to choose from. We had a pie and sausage roll first. I was going to go back in but queue was out the door. Next time will get the yummy stuff when I first order.

Best coffee on the KKRT. Great food! Outdoor undercover seating. I only wish they were open beyond 3pm on weekends (hint, hint).

You must stop and visit this business when travelling though Goomeri, service is excellent as well as the wonderful food.

We stopped here on our way to Brisbane from Gladstone. The food was scrumptious and the staff was friendly. Must try place.

By far the best pie I have had. I'm even going to say the best pie I have ever had. I went for a steak pie and did not regret it. The pastry was so tasty and plenty of steak in the filling. If you are passing through stop here and have a pie!

So happy we made the trip out to this bakery even at 1pm they were still putting out fresh pastries so that alone is good service. Everything was delicious and I recommend the pies, croissants and muffins!

I'm lost for words on this one. If you can swing your trip or drive past this bakery, if you can hold back and not go too overboard in there, you may get out without bags of product. Absolutely amazing. The sheer amount of work that goes into their diverse range is mind boggling. Please do yourself the delight of getting to this bakery. Coffee was perfect, pastries were perfect. The meat pies. Oh my.
