10/2/24. John Dory and chips. Fish was tough and uncooked. Provably from frozen. Very unpleasant. Chips like cheap supermarket ones. Since the fish hubs opening, we have enjoyed this place, I have seen the good quality deteriorate and now won’t be back.

Had the flake and chips, fish cooked perfectly and tasted great. Good service, highly recommend

Fish and chicken burgers are great. Chips are amazing. Scallops are good and the pineapple fritters have cinnamon sugar on them. So good. Very recently priced. Will be back soon

Ordered for the first time today and the food was delicious. Best take away I’ve been to. Very welcoming and polite. Definitely recommend The Fish Hub.

I never post reviews but this place deserves one - the best crumbed fish and chips I’ve ever had, not oily and so fresh. The side salad was fresh and good sized too. We will be back!

As a Chef of 35years and have owned my own seafood takeaway I have to say this was the best fish and chips I have ever had. Keep up the great work.
Calamari was to die for

Beautifully cooked fish and the best chips. This is the best fish and chips on the coast. Outstanding service and quality food which was presented beautifully.

My husband & I found this amazing hidden gem today & we will definitely be back. The food was fresh, the portions very generous, the price was very reasonable & the menue was extensive. Not only that but the owner was friendly & welcoming, this is going to be our new go to Fish & Chip stop. I throughly recomend you visit The Fish Hub, Homeworld Helensvale.

Good food combos, quick and convenient. Not an outlet if you’re looking for quality food or value for money. Salt & pepper calamari was mostly hard and inedible. Nibbles like prawn cutlets or sea Scillies are expensive and ordinary quality. But orders well packaged and staff friendly and presentable.

Friendly staff and great service. They have a variety of fresh fish, scallops and prawns available. We tried the cod and it was thick fresh and juicy. Well done guys.

This review will not let me give zero stars. We loved this place, but last night it was horrible. Not only was our order wrong but all the order in front and behind mine were wrong as well. Service was bad, prices have gone up and quality and size was nothing like it has been. I don’t recommend and will not be going back.

Loved the chicken burger deluxe, chicken was cooked perfect and good amount of sauce. Service was amazing served by a lovely girl was so polite and helpful.

Just came back from dinner, this place used to so good, new owners now and the quality has gone way down, smaller portions, do not recommend.

The john dory was undercooked and tasteless, the salmon was tiny.

Will have to find a new fish and chip shop now.

Finally we found a decent fish & chips shop. Everything we order, from fish, scallop, prawn, Tim Sim to chips are perfectly cooked & fresh & big size. My family will definitely come back again.

I ordered 2 x Crumbed Cod, & medium chips cos the girl said they were a good size. The food was great, Fish has the Sea fresh taste. But I couldn't eat it all. Had to keep 1 piece and the chips to heat up for dinner, so as not to waste it.

This hidden little gem is great value for money! It was the most delicious fish and chips we have had in a while, the calamari just melted in your mouth. The young guys working the counter were so polite and professional, we will definitely be back!

The food was delightful and great value, the young man on the till very was knowledgeable hard working and friendly very refreshing keep up the good work team

Shaun that works there is the best worker you’ve ever seen he is so nice and so helpful highly recommend him. He has great service and great customer service skills. Best worker by far

First visit-Chicken salt chips are amazing! Decent sizing for medium and would recommend. I’ll probably go back to try their other menu options. Only recommendation is to have a better online ordering system - terms and condition keep appearing when we checking status for our order.
