The Family Place

First time here with my little one. Felt so welcome. Amazing bunch of people that run it and amazing space for the kids.

Kim and Michael are 2 of the most wonderful amazing women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing they truly go above and beyond for my wife and family

I visited this “the family place” run by Salvation Army today and I have to say that I was impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The facility itself is very organised, with plenty of space for my kids to play and have fun including outdoor and indoor places.

Also, they has different activities in each day and all free as well. My daughter absolutely loved it here! Overall, I highly recommend the family place to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for their children.

What a fantastic, friendly, fun and free experience ‘messy play’ was! A great community based venue, that provides a range of programs for families. Get involved!

The ladies running the playgroups are the most caring, friendly and amazing with an genuine care for children.
Cherry on top, a FREE outstanding morning tea is provided.

Amazing staff that are friendly and very helpful. The outdoor area is a great size, fenced and lots of variety for imaginations to grow. You feel welcomed, can make yourself a cuppa have a chat make some friends attend programs be listened too and contribute your ideas to this space, was my life saver when I moved to Logan with 2 toddlers and had no friends and not much family

I've been there 2 times so far. The people are very friendly. As the name suggests it is for families. The children seem to enjoy themselves. The have some chooks running around. It's bright and cheerful place to be.

I started attending The Family Place in 2013 while looking for a playgroup for my, then, 5 month old. The center offers a HUGE fully fenced yard full of trees, play equipment, large sandpit, flying fox, vegie patch and resident chickens. They hold 3 playgroups a week, including one on a Saturday for Dad's & their kids. There is always something new an exciting going on at The Family Place, including fun family events, activities, parenting programs, support groups & much much more. And the best part is that EVERYTHING IS FREE!

I come here every Wednesday with my daughter for playgroup and could not recommend The Family Place highly enough. Plenty of space for the little ones to run out some energy and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Definitely worth taking the time to check this place out if you haven't before.
