Top notch, friendly and expert service. Had to get a switch fixed that had been damaged by a bad charger and wouldn't turn on. Specified that I was really after the saved data on the switch more than anything. Was ecstatic when not only was my switch fixed, but all data was still there and the cost was decently under what I was initially quoted. Really appreciate the awesome work and honesty here. Would highly recommend.

Does what the label says. John is an absolute wizard - if it can be fixed, he can do it. This bloke's skill set is beyond. Repaired my 2015 Macbook Air and restored happiness to our home.

I am completely satisfied with the Electronic Fix. They have set prices for many repairs and do not charge more than that, no matter how difficult the job may be or how long it may take. If they consider a repair to not be worth it - either due to excessive cost or potential lack of success - they will tell you. Three times I have taken my iPod classic to them for repair. The first time, it was a problematic fix that required far more time than the set price would normally cover but I was still charged that price. The second time the repair was possible but unlikely and very expensive and so I was informed. The third time was a straightforward, easy fix.
As they are the only company in Brisbane that I know of that repairs iPod classics I am very grateful for their existence.

I can't thank John and Di enough for the hours spent fixing my computer and finding my 'lost files'. They were very tolerant to my lack of computer knowledge and their persistence was very much appreciated. Fantastic customer service the whole time and I cannot recommend them enough. I walked into the store asking for a diagnostic on a custom built PC I put together approximately 6 months ago. I was originally informed this would cost $69, as advertised in-store and verbally. I was happy with this price.

I was later informed over text that I would need to pay $125 an hour instead because I did not want to replace the parts that were faulty. There explanation for this price increase was "It's a custom built PC, you should do it yourself, it will probably take 2 hours for us".

This is misleading, as a diagnostic service could enter a number things, and therefore these points should be openly advertised. I discussed this and I was verbally berated as petty for voicing my concern.

I would not trust this business, you may end up paying much more than your anticipate. For reference my PC cost $750. Paying a third of the price on a "diagnostic service only" is ridiculous.

Don't mislead your patrons.

I can't believe anyone would give this company a bad review. I rang them on Friday afternoon as my computer died. They were closing in 4 hours but still John said bring it in. John put in a new hard drive, etc.straight away even though it was the last day before his Christmas break. He could have easily said leave it til the new year. I am so grateful John. Thank you so much. Such a reasonable cost as well. I Would certainly recommend Electronic Fix. MERRY CHRISTMAS

My Macbook touch bar got cracked and I consulted with these guys if they can fix.
He told me upfront that he doesn’t repair touchbar.
But he helped me going above and beyond to call another mob and referred me to them. All for free.

My ASUS TUF laptop screen decided to spontaneously die back in January (4 months out of warranty, grr). Took it into John and he had a new screen in promptly which is still going strong 7 months later, no hitches at all. Kept me in the loop as to how the repair was going and reasonably priced too. Keep up the great work

Worst service in 30 years of dealing with businesses in Australia. Nasty attitude, no professionalism or honesty. Truly disappointing! I spare the details all I can say is never again will I be dealing with this business thank you very much! If there was a zero star that's what I would be posting. I will never recommend him to anyone else.

On Aug 10th 2022 I accidentally spilt tea on my almost new Macbook Air laptop and was devastated as I am a single parent with three kids and my daughter had very kindly gifted this to me. Apple wanted more than the cost of a new one to repair anything with liquid damage. My laptop mouse pad, keyboard would not work and I could not use it at all or even turn it off. Nothing responded anymore. I was so grateful that I found John who went to so much trouble to open up my laptop and do everything he possibly could to salvage it and see if he could get it working. Even though there was damage to the motherboard, he managed to fix it so that I could turn it on and off and use it with an external keyboard and mouse.
I cannot thank him enough as he not only went to enormous trouble on my behalf, but I can recommend this company to anyone as they are absolutely genuine, care about giving the best possible service to their customers, gave me valuable advice so that I now had a working laptop and with just a minimal investment for an accessory could get years of use from my Macbook Air.
I expected John to charge me more than he did. But the price was so reasonable. I gave him a laptop that was not working and he gave me one back that did work. I am delighted as that is all I wanted. I certainly do hope I will never have any other issues again, but if I ever do I know this is one company I can trust
and I can also recommend them to anyone else without any reservations.

Absolutely brilliant service, took my son's ps4 in to be repaired, and the young guy that did the work was awesome couldn't be a better electronic place that are friendly, courteous, and above all highly efficient on the job, if I could give a 10, then I would have, I completely recommend this place for any thing electrical to be repaired, absolutely awesome job and fantastic price

Rude, unprofessional. Initially diagnosed the laptop with a day time frame to complete fix. By calling Elec. Fix 2 days Later, Elec. Fix replied did not open the laptop yet and cannot do the job while reply your call. When I asked about time frame because my wife using at work, Elec. Fix replied we are not fixing it come and pick it up today.

I took my MacBook in after I had dumped a full cup of coffee into it and Apple told me that they couldn't recover anything and I needed a new computer.

After buying a new computer I took my old one into The Electronic Fix to see if they could recover my stuff. Thankfully, they were able to get into the computer recover everything and put it onto an external hard drive for me!

All I can say is, if your Apple computer doesn't work and Apple say you need a new one, take it to these guys before you spend thousands of $$, chances are they can fix it!

Great people, great pricing, local business! Cannot recommend them enough! I'll be going back if I ever have anymore computer issues!

John from The Electronic Fix went above and beyond to both diagnose and replace the faulty SSD I had in my laptop, as well as monumental effort to recovery my data which itself was the most precious element to me for my work. I cannot thank the folks over at The Electronic Fix enough for their hard work and perseverance to get back such a large amount of data that I desperately needed. I am very proud of John he really did an excellant job at fixing my PS4 Pro 1TB as it was making a loud jet sound and John said it need greasing and now it's like brand new thanks darl.

Impressive service. Correctly guessed my mac model number from a first glance. Excellent source of advice. Replaced my macbook air battery in just 15mins. A cheaper and faster replacement than I could find elsewhere. Very satisfied customer.

TOP service from the team at The Electronics Fix. They dealt with my issue promptly, efficiently and provided excellent customer service.

I called around a few places in Brisbane and none of them had the necessary parts to fix my 8 year old Macbook Pro because it was "too old". Very disappointing, given some of them were the contacts Apple gave me as their dedicated technicians. Most places also quoted excessive amounts just to change a battery, and were vague about the time that would take, especially since they were yet to order the spare battery.

I was happy to drive the extra mile to Mitchelton as Electronic Fix gave me a clear estimate, including timing and what to expect. My battery was replaced within an hour.just in time for me to grab some lunch at the local cafe.

Thank you for your kind assistance and fixing my laptop. It's been weeks now and working like new!
