I loved my visit to Colour Shak today.
The young lady who washed my hair after my colour was fantastic. I was relaxed and that probably was the best hair wash I have had in ages. Mel always gives me a great colour and cut and style she is professional, caring and always up beat. Thankyou so much for a lovely hair experience.

Highly recommend. Short notice appt for hair wash by Krystal in her apprentice yrs, relaxing head massage, wash and beautiful blow dry, very professional and attentive. What an uplifting space to be in, great vibe, happy customers and staff such a treat. It ended too soon! Thanks ladies.

I am very sad to right this review. Today I had to change my appointment due to a change in a delivery from bay island transport coming to 12.30 pm instead of the morning. I wasn't notified by bay island transport I called them at 8.30 to check everything was OK to find it wasn't. I am sure other island clients will understand. I said I could come after 4pm. I rang the colorshack as soon as they opened and even though I have been a regular client since they opened in redland bay they wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee to re-book of 35 aud. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the circumstances were beyond my control. So beware. Even though I regularly spend between 200 to 300 a visit my business was not valued I was advised by the manager that if I try to book there again this fee would be added to my bill.

Please note I have not cancelled or rescheduled before at short notice, plus I did tried to reschedule later in the day.

FAB staff, great atmosphere, lovely products (smell divine) and I never leave unhappy - Mel is my absolute fav, I left with a very pretty new colour, which is not easy as I never know what I want! Great salon, looking forward to my next appointment!

Was a pleasure to come into the salon for the first time today. I could tell I was in good hands from the outset. The basin experience was so relaxing - who could be disappointed with a blissful head massage, eye pillow, hot towel and relaxation music! The hand scrub and moisturiser was another lovely surprise and smelt divine! Very happy with outcome and my brassy hair is now nicely toned!

I am loving the basin experience. Lay back on comfy chair where your neck doesn't hurt then add eye pillow, soft music and someone washing your hair. What's not to like. Great experience.

Where to start! Everything amazing as always but Basin Experience Blew My Mind? That head massage from Tai has to be the best ever, sorry Eliza. I’m really unhappy with the perm service provided to my son’s hair. I was charged $200 and the hair was left basically the same as when I dropped him off. I paid for nothing and when I discussed it, the hairdresser tried to convince me it would bounce up! They also left a huge amount of chemical on my sons face and neck.
