The Bedroom Lounge Bar

Horrible experience. Do not go here. I was enjoying my night until I was choked out and dragged out over my $3 sunglasses who someone else thought was theirs. I asked for video to press charges and will be doing so once we get the footage back. Do not spend money at this establishment and certainly do not come here unless you wish to look for fights. Certainly plenty of people looking for that here!

Was told that this location maybe hit or miss, however we though why not give it a try, We we’re so wrong, this establishment is a nightmare, security/bouncers are an absolute joke, Do not waste you’re time or money at this location, A gentlemen a table or two away from us was assaulted by 7-8 people and was getting chocked out, security/bouncers stood there and watched as if they were entertained. I’ve never seen anything like this at any bar/club/lounge ever. After reading other reviews it seems that other customers have incidents with the security/bouncer staff which is mind boggling since they are staff of the establishment. Incredibly unprofessional I hope they make changes to ensure customers safety and well being.

I used to love this club until Saturday 7th October, your security guard (1227) was sexist and kick out my friend and after a guy pushed HER down the stairs. I was only asking her what happened and why she was getting kicked out and the security guard said I was getting kicked out too. When I asked why he said because the manger said so. The manger was standing behind him and I was going to get his attention and ask why, when the security guard took my arm and locked it against my chest shouting “you tried to hit the manger” and dragged me out twisting my wrist. I am a small girl and excessive force and abuse of duty rights were crossed.
When I was outside the club the manager spoke to me and confirmed that I didn’t “try to hit him” and that he didn’t order my leave but didn’t do anything about the fact the guy that pushed my friend down the stairs stayed in the club and the security guard did not apologise! I will never return. I will never feel safe with that kind of security team!

I wouldn’t recommend bedroom to anyone i was friends with.this place is terrible.they had a competition where you won a birthday party hosted by them and i was unlucky enough to win and they ruined my birthday.the promised substantial canopy’s for me and my guests.there was none.they offered bottomless drinks to myself because it was my birthday which was very generous, except they had 2 bar staff working and it took me 15 minutes to even get my first drink.clever that they prioritise people paying over the supposed “guest of honour” that they said i was.the dj was just genuinely horrible, he was mixing songs that didn’t mix and going from upbeat to real slow with next to no transitions.the front counter girl, i didn’t catch her name unfortunately, was so incredibly rude to me when i was trying to understand where we were even meant to go and where they were going to put the supposed food they said they would cater and she even rolled her eyes at me and told me to just wait.i genuinely wasn’t being pushy or rude to her i was literally asking the 2 questions.absolutely appalling.thankfully there was a blonde lady who stepped in and explained it all and said we could sit in the booth, but only untill 9pm when they open to the public.which gave us like 30 minutes.they ruined my birthday and wasted my time.i know this might seem ungrateful to some people but i could’ve hosted a birthday party at my own home with my friends and actually pulled through on food and drinks and good music but instead i wasted my time, money and energy going to a party that was promised but never pulled through on.i felt embarrassed to waste my friends time to come to a party which was actually just a ploy to get people to come to bedroom because there club is dying.and honestly for good reason.there are so many more clubs in surfers that deserve so much more attention than bedroom will should ever get and i would recommend going to literally any other venue except bedroom. 0/10.will never go back.

Archie rice made the night, sick DJ definitely made the atmosphere somewhere you’d want to spend the night. Can’t recommend enough someone who makes the night pop.

Such a groovy place to go for some drinks and a dance.the workers are so friendly and my nights on the town are always unforgettable

Very unprofessional workers. Just witnessed a worker had a full on fight and grappled one of the people in the crowd because they were accidentally pushed. You guys should understand how easily the place can get crowded and it was clearly an accident but the worker and the security guard kicked the guy out. People are trying to have fun and to witness this is very distressing. For a place where you pay $20 per entry, you’d expect the workers to have more respect to customers and be more understanding and sort it out and let it go or don’t let 1000 people in such a small space? It’s not rocket science.

Don’t go here more then once because the dj plays the same set list everytime. Every night is a repeat

Wasn’t allowed to enter because of my stylish top lastnight. He said the manager said NO I said where are they? Sec said he walked passed you but no one walked bye when I walked to the door he just asked the other guy at the door & said NO Oh well every other place I went I had NO issues at all. But girls can walk st8 In with hardy any clothing on.

Can’t believe the restrictions this place has in order. For an environment that is 20+ degrees on average to be mandated to wear long pants and a collared shirt is absolutely absurd. You’re obligations are ridiculous.

Best night club in Gold Coast I came here almost every week always friendly welcoming stuff, good value in drinks.

Nightclub was okay, security guard at the front almost ruined my night with his big headed attitude. So rude. Good aesthetics in the nightclub and good music.

Security 94 deserves to get fired i had no problem with other securities and he did not let me in because of my pants when the same security let three other males with the same type of trackpants on in without any issues.i did not get aggressive or hostile with any of the staff members and accepted the fact that they have dress codes at the bedrooms club. But it is still unfair that i saw three other men with the similar pants being let in and he does not deserve to be misusing his power.

These Barstaff are super helpful and sweet. As an ex bartender, we loved the service all the staff were super nice. I want to especially thank the straight dark hair girl and straight blonde girl the nights of 16-17.12.22. They treated us well all night with big smiles. The curly haired glass boy both nights I saw him- also both nights- SUPER kind and helpful. Thank you for making me and my mate comfy in a place we are not used of entirely. THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL STAFF <3

Me and the girlfriend tried to visit the place on a Monday. Wouldn’t let us in. Because I was wearing flip flops (thongs) and the girlfriend was wearing sandals. Come on it’s surfers not a temple

Disgusting. Boring. Waste of time. Way better clubs on the strip.
The "manager" or promoter is also a complete creep and looked tweaked off his head.

One of the staff members were amazing in helping me find my friends however the bouncer of the door was absolutely disgusting towards me and kept being unbelievably rude even when I was crying because of him. Don’t know what power trip he was on but no human deserves to be spoken to the way I was spoken to

The chic handing out stamps needs to put a smile on her face and not act rude - her attitude ruined everyones vibe and made us want to leave before we even walked in the club

Nowhere to sit all ‘VIP’, Ball pit was closed, The girl putting the stamps was not friendly at all. Sign out front said no vaping or smoking but the stamper girl was vaping?
