The best pub in Brisbane. It feels like a live hall pub in a local neighborhood. The atmosphere is good and there are so many people. They're so friendly, and the beer prices aren't too bad, around $9-10. However, there are only a few snacks here, so it's better to think of it as just a place to drink! The performer changed once in the middle haha ​​I highly recommend it

We went to the venue on Sunday, it's been a favourite place to hang when in Brisbane, usually great music. On this occasion the Bar person was rude and less than hospitable, when we asked if lunch was served she just pointed with her face at the kitchen and proceeded to go into a conversation running down a colleague or such with another worker. We decided we could do better and went elsewhere, when we told our experience to a friend that evening at a gig they said they were there the day before and had a similar experience. Hopefully she lifts her people skills because I really have enjoyed this bar in the past.

Nice place. Certainly wasn't worth the $53 per person for entry however the food was nice and drinks reasonable price.

Some people are like young, and some people are like not, but it doesn't matter cause like we are all here for the music

I really enjoy this place and have seen some fabulous gigs here so I feel disappointed to be writing this review.

Last night I dined in with two friends after enjoying a few beers. Not only were there three different menus on the tables (two were out of date) only half the menu items were available. I’m understanding of not all menu items being available due to recent weather circumstances and supply issues (I work in a kitchen so I know this all too well) however we were only told about this after paying for the food. Myself and my dining partners then chose other meals, the pork chop that is actually diced pork, perhaps named with the pun intended but it gives the complete wrong idea of what meal you are getting and a chicken burger. The pork was actually rather tasty and served in a nice sticky sauce with vegetables however the chicken burger was not chicken at all, we were served an cooked veggie burger (burnt patty and bun so tough you could barely get your teeth trough). The burger was relatively flavourless and completely taken over by the bread. Upsetting to ask for something you’ve been told is on the menu and then be served something else, we didn’t mention it as there had already been large discussions with bar staff and chef about what was available but I know that I won’t be dining here again.

Sorry Beardo, love you but last nights meal was pretty disappointing.

Beardo’s a marvellous place. The food selection is rad, the drinks are reasonably priced and tastefully curated and best of all, there’s good live music. They look after the musicians and that’s really important. Absolutely love going to Bearded on any occasion.

Great space for small, intimate gigs. I’ve had a great time every time I’ve come here to listen to live music, and always left with a story. The bar is pretty good too, and prices are reasonable.

Best live music venue in West end, lots of varied events and amazing local talent coming thru. Love to have a brew and watch jazzy shows in the front bar on a Sunday arvo!

Coarse, unadulterated. If you're into beards, leather, and sore ears, this place is for you. I personally like to be able to talk to my mates and be heard.

Great service! Very polite considerate staff with attention to detail during our visit for cocktails. Certainly a breath of fresh air against the often arrogance of some Brisbane hospitality staff who seem to frequently forget they are in the service industry.

Creative cocktail list that suits the name, theme and decor of this little gem on the main street of West End.
Tables, stools and lounges of different heights and positions in this cosy unpretentious and a bit glam bar. Try the Lychee Martini or one of the many unique other fabulous blends on offer! Check out the cocktail lists in my photo log!

Chilled out relaxed bar, with a good choice of beer on tap. Would be nice to see a bit more range with the cider though.

Quirky and intriguing place with a nice ambience. The collage of artwork on the walls provides endless discussion. We were they because they hosted a literary salon in the backroom. So props to them for supporting the arts.
