Good place to eat. It was soooo busy and noisy though. Cow bells constantly going off with servers walking around with giant paddles of shots.

Took hours to fully complete drinks and dinner, as service was slow due to the insane amount of people in there. Huge meals and giant drinks. You definitely get what you pay for. Meals were delicious. Service was friendly.

My first time here was lovely. Staff was ver nice and I was occupied by Loleta who made sure I was okay and helped me with my order. Wine and food was great, will be back soon. Thank you

Always amazing German dishes and beers. Also a cracking view of the Brisbane River from the outside deck. Highly recommended

We placed an order 5 on the app 5 minutes before the kitchen close. The app cancelled the food order and only placed the order for drinks (cokes).
I understand that we the delay in the app may cause the cancelation. But it was ridiculous that the manager didn't approve the refund for the drinks!
How can they give me 4 cokes without my food.
They could refund, but I didn't want to argue. Just want to give them the review because I wasn't happy with the service

Nice food. Doing their best to be as German as possible. They are doing a good job. Still lots of un-German items on the menu, which I think is ok. So there is something for everyone's taste buds.

The only disappointment was that there was no German schnapps on the menu anymore, like the plum or Williams. But well, 1st world problem, is it?

Great view. I went on a Thursday night for their all you can eat meat platters and they were super busy. Food and drink orders were messed up but they were apologetic and friendly. Had to wait a long time for food.

Great ambience, too expensive drinks, poor limited choice of beers, food ordinary and not much choice, slow service.

Typically wouldn’t fill out reviews however the staff were very hospitable and accommodating.

Although our kids meals were missed, the Manager was very quick to ensure we weren’t disappointed and offered the kids a desert free each along with offering a drink for the adults.

The food was incredible, along with the view of the Story Bridge.

Came here twice in the last fortnight and the 1st experience was ok but after highlighting some feedback and knowing the experience we had was outside the control of the venue we decided to give the place another shot. 2nd time around was a really great experience were staff knew our booking, food was on point, seating was good, attention to detail was sharp and requests were follow up fast. Very good experience and would highly recommend.

Weak customer service. I paid at 8: 45 pm when manager told us we can give our orders. When we paid by app they didn’t accept our orders and our drinks just accepted and they didn’t refund our drinks payments when we wanted cancel them when we couldn’t confirm our orders. I am so sorry for this awful customer service. Under one starwe had to get our drinks with no food because they didn’t refund our money.

Food is good and reasonably priced for large serves. A great location on the river. Gets very busy on the weekend so bookings are advised

The staff at The Bavarian were excellent, so friendly and obliging and the service was very fast, especially with it being very busy The view and location is so good. However, I unfortunately ordered the salad which was disappointing but in retrospect at a German restaurant, I should have ordered something more appropriate. Thank you for a nice night.

Great beers on tap, including a range of German beers. Great view down the Brisbane River to the Storey Bridge. Good menu, with some big meals. Thoroughly recommend the range of chicken snitties. You can order drinks and food from your table using the QR code. Some people have given this place a negative review, but my experiences here have all been positive.

Food was nice but don’t bother with all you can eat. Hour and a half for first plate same for second plate. All you can wait

Go for a good time not a long time. Big ole beers. Suggest the pork knuckles. Schnitzels are kinda average

Expectation (10 pieces) vs Reality (20 pieces) $40. What a con.

We went there yesterday to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was completely amazing! Place, atmosphere, drinks and food was great. The manager assistant Guilherme (Gui) and his supervisor (kind lady who I can’t remember the name) were very helpful and kind with us and our guests all the time.
It wasn’t our first time there and definitely won’t be the last!

Not the place to go.on a friday night if you want to have a plesant dinner as its very full and loud. But the food there is beyond filling and amazing. We got the pork knuckle share platter and a jug of one of their cocktails. Everything was delicious and the apple dessert we had was delicious. Will come back at an earlier time
