We had the most wonderful experience with Nat at the Balanced Dancer and would highly recommend her to any couples who are planning their wedding! Over a few sessions, Nat helped us choreograph a dance that was fun, easy to learn, and reflective of our personalities. All of our guests loved it, and it was a really special thing for us to do together. We are so grateful to Nat for her knowledge, patience, and good humour!

My partner and I had 2 dance lessons in the lead up to the wedding. Nat made the experience very easy and also super fun. The lessons also provided a nice reprieve from the stress of wedding planning! Our guests were very impressed with our moves on the night. I would highly recommend working with Nat!

Nat from The Balanced Dancer was incredible to work with! We only had one 2 hour session with her and we managed to choreograph our entire first dance. We really appreciate and highly recommend Natalie and her The Balanced Dancer. She helped us to create a beautiful and perfect first dance for our wedding. Starting from the beginning she has always been very promoted with replying enquires and organising class dates. Her classes are absolutely fun to attend. She taught two dance newbies patiently and is spot on with correcting and polishing our dance routines. She provides record videos so we can review and practice at home. Natalie also helps with trimming our preferred music to match the vibe. She helped to create a twist from slow romantic dance to hot hip-pop which amazed us and surprised all of our guests. Not to mention she really puts efforts into understanding her clients’ needs, culture and personalities. She took extra miles to understand a foreign language song and choreographed accordingly to present love and happiness just perfect for our wedding. We highly recommend Natalie and The Balanced Dancer and truly believe she is the best vendor in this industry.

I someone who’s never had dance training as a child. I approached Natalie with a goal to learn dance repertoire across various dance forms - contemporary, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. And my god, she delivers. If you are looking to fast track and elevate your dance skills - SHES THE REAL DEAL. She has a WEALTH of dance knowledge and appreciation for all dance forms - AND CAN TEACH THEM.

My skill as a dancer turned from absolute beginner all the way to intermediate in a short amount of time.

She does this by understanding how you think and receive information. Her verbal direction quickly adapts to how YOU understand. Plus, She eliminates the fluff and gets right to the essentials and what is important. Her keen eye on your form, technique and confidence (or insecurities!) makes your dancing LOOK CLEAN. She can polish and elevate choreography you may be working on. Or, teach you new choreography successfully.

She is also an excellent mentor and coach for mindset around dance. She helped me navigate my thoughts and perception around my attempts at learning completely different styles. She helped me manage expectations around beginning new genres.

Overall, she’s always a GO TO for refining or learning new dance skills. I’ll always return to her mentoring!

We were referred to Nat by a friend to choreograph our wedding dance in Brisbane. Can not rate her highly enough! Across 5 lessons we learnt an EPIC first dance which was the highlight of our wedding for not only ourselves but also our guests. Such a fun activity to do with you partner in the lead up to a wedding, a great stress reliever. Highly recommend. Thank you Nat!

My 10 year old daughter has been attending classes with Natalie over the past term. Natalie has been positive, encouraging and focussed on improving the technical aspects of dancing. My daughter has really enjoyed the process and we plan to return to Natalie when time allows.

Natalie and The Balanced Dancer were fantastic for Chloe and I. Nat choreographed the most perfect of routines for us to a very unique song.
