I was so nervous going in after not so great experiences at other stores and she made me feel at ease and enjoy the whole experience and helped me find the one!

I had the best try on experience at Babushka Ballerina - Rhiahn was so lovely and very professional. She took her time and really listened to what I was after for a wedding dress. Nothing was too much trouble and she did her best to help me visualize a gown we could create - holding up different materials and getting creative with her pins. I bought my wedding dress in Babushka Ballerina last year and Rhiahn was a dream to work with. From my very first appointment she was warm and friendly and put me at ease. After trying several dresses which were all beautiful Rhiahn asked me to try a dress I hadn't noticed and it was the one! She's an expert in helping to style your final look also. Babushka is a beautifully styled space to feel beautiful trying on gorgeous vintage and intricate gowns. It's more than just another bridal shop.

I would definitely recommend Babushka Ballerina as a must for all brides-to-be! I went to multiple bridal stores when looking for my wedding dress and as soon as I stepped in Babushka Ballerina I knew I had found the right place.

Not only does the store have the most beautiful range of unique dresses, a dreamy interior and a gorgeous staffy Daisy; it also has the most helpful, warm and knowledgeable staff. Rhiahn was an absolute gem from the moment I met her. She was so accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. She really took the time to listen to my needs and helped me find the perfect dress. Rhiahn really went above and beyond and was an absolute delight to deal with throughout the entire process. I always looked forward to my Babushka Ballerina visits.

I had a truly terrible experience with Babushka Ballerina and would not recommend them to any bride-to-be.

The off-the-rack item (a top) I ordered with them came 20 weeks after ordering (the same item from BHLDN took two weeks) and when it arrived, it was too small. I had given them my measurements on the phone and they had ordered for me, without asking me for any measurements beyond just a waist/bust size (in hindsight they should have asked me for more information to ensure this online purchase was a success, as I later researched the item runs small - they should have relayed this and ordered me a size up). A dress shop is responsible for fully informing the client of all sizing matters, not the client. I gave the information I was asked for and the fit was unsuccessful (and I had not changed size).

When I tried to problem-solve with them, I was frequently told I would be called (and then I wasn't, for days on end). I also received really unprofessional texts from one of the staff members at the store who said things like "sorry I've just come in the door and our phones aren't working and I am absolutely run off my feet and hopefully our manager will call you soon" in the midst of a time when my stress was at peak height days before my wedding. The manager in question emailed me days later, and utterly refused to refund the item.

Essentially, I was left with a fortnight to go until my wedding with nothing to wear, and $500 out of pocket. While the team tried to help by sending me a larger size in exchange, they really should have offered me a refund as it was their fault the item was unwearable for my wedding. Luckily I was able to order a back up top from BHLDN which came within two weeks and was perfect, so I would recommend BHLDN over Babushka any day for a vintage-inspired piece. A much better experience.

I already know that rather than simply apologizing on this platform, they will reply with a very meaningless, PR-ish, cool calm and collected response but honestly nothing can mask the fact that they just wanted my money and that the service provided was sub-standard, and actually at times, traumatising.

I can't recommend the lovely Rhiahn enough, she made my experience so positive, fun and personal. BB have a beautiful selection of gowns and separates and have something to suit every taste and will happily accommodate any budget. Thank you Rhiahn! X

The girls at Babushka Ballerina found me the most gorgeous wedding dress - something I would never have picked for myself initially, but I was blown away by how well it suited me! They then specially asked the designer to make the top and bottom of the dress in two different dress sizes and were communicative the entire way. Thank you girls!

I experienced over and above treatment from the girls at B. B. Stunning venue and collections. Loved the Margo skirt that I got as part of my wedding dress a couple years ago. I recommend going to at least check out their range to most of the girls I know who are getting married- loved the experience.

Amazing service. My Mum and I went to an appointment where we spent the time trying on the beautiful dresses with Rhiahn. She helped me feel extremely comfortable and made it an unforgettable experience for us both. I thought searching for a wedding dress would be so overwhelming, but walked out feeling at ease and having had a ball. A lovely surprise and a wonderful memory to now have.

My first ever bridal shopping experience was at Babushka and I absolutely loved it. Masha was warm, genuine and made me feel comfortable trying on all different types of dresses. I would highly recommend giving The Babushka Ballerina a visit for a unique, unforgettable experience.
