The Avenues Tavern - Av Tav

Great food, great price for the size of plate (I had the special, cordon bleu and hubby had the lasagne (he wasn't a massive fan of the flavour- more meaty and less saucy in flavour, we also ordered the garlic bread, yummy!), nice atmosphere (we sat outside). Overall a nice place to eat at.

Food was wonderful the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable great place to have a feed

Quiet lunch during the week, Just missed the Big Birthday celebrations. We will be back.

The security is rude before you even enter, the cauliflower drummettes taste like pure vinegar and chips were cold!

Very disappointing, after checking on a number of times leading up to our event, our group with refused entry at 8pm. Security didn't need to be so rude, it was just not necessary

Top feed, staff wonderful. Lamb Shanks to die for. Love the place. Also has a great lollie bar in the pokie room.

Great service and staff (Taylor and James) did an amazing job. Busy but always checking on service and customer service. Food was fresh and great value for money.

We came down for lunch and received the best meals and very zealouse service from the great and friendly staff

Came here with my mum for NY eve, lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our food and staff was lovely. I love how they still give you the paper menu after having introduced the QR code for ordering. We will be coming back here again!

Dinner was awesome. Hadn’t been in years, friendly staff nice inside decor however outside grounds and building are a bit scrappy. Hopefully they will make the place look attractive to draw people in.

Really awesome atmosphere! Better than your average pub, for sure. The staff are super friendly. Good spot for some grub.

New menu is quality. The service was quick and if your looking for a loaded Parmi the Av Tav is the place to go!

Great staff manager was lovely compliments to the chef, the Avenue refurbishing is looking fantastic.

Booked out the function room for an event and the staff were all fabulous, the food is always decent and affordable prices, I cannot thank Courtney enough for her help and it was easy to contact and arrange everything through Facebook.

It is not the most glamorous setting but the staff really looked after us and the food was really good. A big Thank-you to all the staff, great job.

If you would like to be served then I suggest you go some where else staff seen that we where standing waiting. Waited 10 mins and they stood there talking to one anther with no acknowledgement

Really lovely staff, quick and easy to order over the phone. Ordered a chicken parmi and a steak with diane sauce but unfortunately had the sauce left out. Besides that overall great experience and the steak was cooked amazing, along with the chicken parmi. Chips could have been better to match the quality of the steak. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re after an awesome place to dine in and eat. Will definitely be coming back to eat there again however will dine in next time rather than take away to fully enjoy the experience.

Not good. I used to really enjoy the lovely lunches and excellent staff. However on my last visit the energy was off the staff we're not the same and my lunch was absolutely ruined as the person I was with received and consumed theirs 10 whole minutes before mine was brought out needless to say I paid for lunch that day but did not get to eat it. I did take it to go. But?
I miss the old way with the nuty yelling cook in the back. Sorry guys please do better.
