WOW! I got some antique chairs recovered and matching cushions made and the quality of the work was outstanding. With hundreds of choices of top quality fabrics there is something for everyone! A great family business.

Driving down the road today and I hit the skids and pulled in to check out these beautiful chairs that had been restored! 1950s comfy chairs painted and recovered in a fantastic Warwick fabric. To die for! Wonderful owner took me inside and gave me water as I was so dehydrated. Talk about service! In love with this place and the owners! Look out now I’m going to be broke spending all my money in this incredible shop!

What lovely people. Told us all about their company & explained what goes into restoring chairs.
Worth going too.

Great service and excellent craftsmanship. The Antique Polishers took a very neglected dining table we loved and gave it a whole new life, it’s stunning now. Thank you and hopefully I can find more treasure for you to refurbish in the future! Highly recommend.

I've been taking advantage of the little known Brisbane secret called The Antique Polishers for over a decade now. I've picked up more than my share of bargains for once in a lifetime Xmas gifts for family and friends with niche loves. Items as old as this country and rarer than it too!

Also, I've had furniture both made and restored at the Antique Polishers.

The son in the business is so humble it's amazing. A true blue. I had a very specific cabinet made with false compartments (to hide things), except it was completely from wood - no screws, glue's or clues. He made it exactly to my specification. I still can't figure out how the thing works just based on wood sliders. It cost me $550 for a 'large bedside table' so to speak. Of course he coloured it deeply to my liking and to match my other furniture. When he brought the finished piece to my house and we were talking about it I happened to ask. 'Wow, how long did all this take you to do? '. He responded with such a genuine and modest care 'Well I had to get a few hundreds bucks of wood together for all the joiners, but I got it all done in about, 30 hours or so. '

I highly recommend you visit and look at the store.there are some items in there that have 100's of hours of caring, passionate labor poured into them.

Also, if you need furniture restored - especially if its important to you, or an antique etc. I would only trust The Antique Polishers to protect and restore my most valuables.

The Antique Polishers have been around and remained for as long as I can remember, through and past the fads, continuing on solidly just as any true antique does. I look forward to many more years ahead.

(I actually have a piece I want you to take a look at and give a spruce and protect which is why I looked you up and decided to write this great review. Talk soon)

Buyer Beware of The Antique Polishers! Yesterday I bought a pretty Aynsley cup, saucer and plate for $65. When I got it home and put tea in it the cup had a hairline crack in it becoming obvious because of the tea. I rang to leave a message even though it was after hours and I returned this morning to ask for a replacement. They refused. The Office of Fair Trading states that a consumer can rely upon a guarantee that if an item is not fit for the purpose for which it was made, you have a right to a refund or a replacement. Regrettably, I must now take the matter to the authorities as they will not honour the guarantee.

I have known the polishers for a while now and have had some very small silver frames repaired. The care and service has been excellent and faultless. I have brought a stunning side board that had been restored with great care and attention. I have found the quality of the workmanship to be faultless and not over done.
The staff are friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure that my job is done to satisfaction. My response is due to the comment above. It would almost seem that the women must have damaged the item after leaving the shop and now blames the shop owner. I have never seen damaged items in the polishers shop and would suggets this women (whoever she thinks she is) is not being honest nor fair.
