The whole team at Agoge was friendly and helpful from the first time I walked into the gym, especially as I had no experience in Ju Jitsu. I now have my whole family involved which makes it a whole lot of fun! I would encourage anyone to give it a go!

Have only been to 3 classes so far, so very much a newbie. From the start I've been made extremely welcome. There seems to be a real culture of respect and community, which without doubt makes it easier for a newcomer. I have enjoyed learning new skills and techniques. It can be daunting, but being guided through every move and transition has been invaluable in picking up the basics. Looking forward to learning so much more over the coming years.

Justin and the team run a great Jiujitsu class at a really nice location. My son has been attending for around 3 years now - he adores it & always looks forward to his classes & his grading. Highly recommended - great local business.

Justin has been a fantastic teacher for someone starting out in BJJ. The environment is very welcoming with everyone more than happy to help out, as well as get some hard rolls in. The structure of the classes and the fundamentals curriculum has really helped with applying skills.

My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves Agoge Jiu Jitsu! Fantastic role models for her and wonderful place to train. Highly recommended.

I've been going to The Agoge for a couple years now and have had so much fun as well as learn the great Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and made many new friends. I highly recommend The Agoge as it's a great way to get fit and learn Jiu-jitsu.

Justin has done an exceptional job at Agoge. It is a great gym for anyone wishing to learn BJJ both from a beginners perspective as he really is into drilling all the fundamentals time and time again. All members are extremely welcoming and friendly and Justin always provides plenty of time for feedback and questions at the end. It is always a pleasure to sit around in the feedback circle and hear what everyone else took away from the class.

The Agoge is an amazing gym that attracts a wonderful community of people. Justin Bennetts is a dedicated coach who keeps up to date with cutting edge BJJ techniques and concepts which he can instill into beginners thru advanced practitioners. The structure of trainings involve multiple weeks focused on a individual position, which allows for rapid improvement and a much deeper understanding, while being incredibly fun and engaging:)

I Would 100% recommend this gym to anyone looking to train BJJ. Justin is a great teacher who clearly puts a lot of effort and planning into every class. The gyms location is awesome, really close to the ferries stop. All the members are super cool. 10/10 would recommend.
