That Furniture Shop reviews
10 As a gardener by trade, and a history enthusiast (I read works of Labour History by university acedemics for fun), I've got to say this is probably one of my favourite shops. As an antique store, their stock changes regularly, so every so often I stop by to browse the vintage tools and occasionally buy one to restore for my business. They regularly have a collection of old cane knives (of course, given Bundaberg's history with the sugar industry), and the often stock good shovels, spades, and axes. My favouraite purchases from this shop include a long handled brush hook, and a Trojan Brush Axe/Hook (almost certainly from the days they manufactured in Melbourne).
Also, if you're buying antique tools from here, do yourself a favour and take them to Harwood's Saw and Tool Service at 56 Perry St, North Bundaberg. Mr Harwood works wonders on these old tools. The only thing is; if you're buying these tools as wall pieces, and not to use, then you probably won't want him to sharpen them, because he gets things razor sharp.
Amazing shop filled with many beautiful things, the owner is lovely and will definitely come back next time we are passing through
Thought I might find some Mid-century style furniture in this sweet little shop, however it is majority antiques. Beautiful antique pieces, big and small.
That furniture shop is a great store, it has a huge range of items, it is one of those shops that you have to visit. The people who own the shop are very friendly and helpful, you go for a quick look and you end up walking out of the shop an hour or 2 later, I can not recommend this shop highly enough, Sydney Junior
A wonderland of treasures here to browse, collectables, a cavalcade of the unusual, desirable and novel trinkets- wonderful!
Lots of old and unusual stuff as well as furniture including old and not so old tools and bric a brac. The tools were slightly cheaper than new, and most things were at the top end of their price range.
Wonderful journey of discovery. Browse through objects that tell a historical tale of the area.and the large refurb'd tool selection that'll make you feel like starting that DIY project. Well worth a stopover.
A brilliant place to go for a browse, always find things that you didn't know you needed haha.plus, the old school tools.awesome!
Best quality, innovative and varieties of tools. Charlie, the owner is a very good person and i like there collections. I will surely come back to get more antique ornaments for my home.
A huge variety of old wares, new furniture, great to stroll around and discover treasures you never knew you needed
