Great speciality shop which only sells camping gear (which is great within itself). Well stocked with products for camping.

Have a Breakaway tent which l bought separate tent poles for awning.unfortunately its a poor design and the tent flooded due to (non adjustable) tent poles being higher than the awning.
Rang and told l could get refund/exchange.now told being plastic bag they came in was ripped/open they cant resell, so will not exchange.

We’ve just had an awful experience with Tent World Warana. We needed to have an item replaced under warranty and the employee who served us was rude, arrogant and dismissive.
After reading everyone else’s reviews I’m guessing his name was Scott and this seems to be the trend for how he’s treating the customers of your store. This man should not have a job in Customer Service.
We intentionally purchased from tent world to support the smaller guys but will never visit this store again and will take our business to the bigger camping stores.

Worst experience ever would never ever shop with tentworld again. Kawana store Manager Scott so rude and arrogant. Had to get office of fair trade involved for refund!

Absolute horrible customer service the manager of the store Scott is arrogant and highly unprofessional - I would not recommend to anyone to buy anything there and save the trouble and shop elsewhere

Excellent assistance from staff in solving a gas fitting l needed. Stood at bcf & rtfm for eternity with no help arriving. Make your own mind up.

Happy to take your money but unwilling to provide service when what they sell is faulty. Product has not worked since new. First contact regarding problems with product palmed off and told to continue trouble shooting. When we arrived in store the next day we were palmed off and told to take the product to an assessor before an exchange or refund would even be entertained. Assessor then tells us it is likely to take more than 2 weeks to resolve. Refund policy erected in the store does not mention any time restrictions (it was an issue that it was outside of 2 weeks) nor the process requiring assessment from an independant business. Store policy states refund or exchange offered for faulty products, but refused. Will spend my money elsewhere in future

So many little handy items, went there to get a knife sharpener. Very happy with my knife sharpener

I ordered online, two oztrail aluminium poles (230cm). They were great, but 4 stars because the picture didn't match the product I received. The picture showed fully aluminium, but the poles actually have plastic feet, which weren't shown.

Fantastic place to shop, great staff, extremely polite and full of knowledge. Stocking an extensive range of all your camping needs.
A must to do, visit prior to your next camping trip.

False advertising, Tentworld advertise a price match guarantee, I was just refused this guarantee in the Warana store on an item.

I showed them the item as advertised elsewhere, they confirmed the price through their own search and brought up the price on screen, they added the shipping cost from the competitor and flatly refused to match the competitors price plus shipping!

Is your staff aware of the Guarantee? Do they know that Tentworld advertise this in black and white on their website?

Go to 'Outback Adventures' in Morayfield, its just down the road, these are the guys that had the better deal that Tentworld wouldn't match even though they advertise a price match guarantee.

Had a really pleasant experience from friendly helpful staff. Gave me good information, took a holding payment for an order, helped with a few other items. Very efficient.

I went into Tent World today to pick up an 15amp to 10amp converter for the caravan. Took it home and cut the packaging to find I purchased the incorrect one. Made a phone call back to say the package had been cut open expecting to hear I wouldn't be able to exchange it. To my surprise the lady (I believe her name was Simone) happily advised to bring it back to exchange. Great experience. Well done guys.

Bought at full price a kamp-rite double tent cot.
Upon assembly straight after purchase I found damaged poles on the support brackets. If it was a few small scratches I wouldn't mind but one is all along a pole and another with a chip down the metal as awell as the minor stuff.
If this was the last one available I'd even accept that but there was clearly a brand new one with this obvious returned tent.

We were greeted by a very helpful chap as soon as we walked in the door who found us just what we were looking for.

Ordered Trangia online. Two issues: Tentworld need to protect their products when packaging, as the courier just threw this fragile item on the ground. Secondly it was a defective product, but Tentworld handled my replacement beautifully.
