The customer service at this location is truely amazing. I have been going to them since I first bought a camera there five years ago. They have always put my needs first and worked to find the Best solution for me. Could not recommend these guys enough! Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but in particular I found Lucas to be amazing.

I absolutely cannot thank Gabby enough for helping me today! I walked in with my camera and lens not communicating, she problem-solved the issue and helped me to update the firmware. Teds is not just a great store, it cares about it's customers. Thank you Gabby!

Extremely disappointed with the service provided by Ted's Cameras. I ordered a camera as a gift through their online store and set it for click and collect from my local store. I had heard nothing following my order and it has been a full week, so I contacted the online department, only to be told the camera was not available in the colour I wanted and she had asked the store to only contact me that day. I contact the store (Maroochydore) and they had zero clue what I was talking about. I needed this item as a gift for two days after this all occurred. So I asked for a refund which they were happy to give and was told I would get a confirmation email that afternoon and the funds back within a few days as per normal. However it has once again been a full week with no confirmation email and no refund. I have now been trying to get through to the online department for the last 20 minutes to once again enquire what is going on. The only bright spot was Bronwyn in the web customer service department, she was lovely to deal with and apologised for the inconvenience this has all caused. The higher ups of this company really need to do better, and provide a higher level of support for their customers.

Help had no idea what he was talking about. I know what my Nikon camera does as to full frame picture ect. Yet he tried to tell me some thing quite opposite Other workers we to busy behind counter on their mobile phones to be bothered to come assist. Very dissapointing.

So I finally went into Ted's today to buy more gopro batteries and data cards. I fired off at least two score of questions to the lad serving me who's name Now escapes me and he did a pretty good job of answering my questions. I did ask about another proprietary camera and he didn't have a lot of information to give concerning how difficult it would be to interface with - but only because he never had himself - to which I'd implore management at Ted's everywhere to ensure your staff have the opportunities to at the very least test all the best and newest kit just so when people like me rock up with a tonne of disposable income and more pragmatic sensibilities, well people like us can give you money based on true human experience.maybe.if we sense the answers to our questions are legit.

I'm convinced this is true for all other kit and I just chose to ask about the one device that the salesman didn't know about because that's my luck - so it's a solid 4 stars.

I'll be back though when those other things I asked about arrive and maybe I'll add another star based on what people can tell me about things I don't know.

Great experience shopping here. Andrew was super helpful and helped me find the perfect camera for my budget and wishes. Very helpful and much appreciated. The free beginners photography course run by him was also great to get started.

I was in the market for a specific model of camera but was unsure on what lens setup to go for. I phoned ahead to see if they had some options in store and spoke to Dana who was extremely helpful and offered to show me some options if I could make it to the store.

When I arrived Dana was amazing! She showed me lots of options, let me try them out and gave me all the information on the different options. She was incredibly patient and understood it was a big purchase and gave me some time to think about the decision.

Her colleague, Bryce, also helped give some suggestions and helped me get the best deal for my needs.

I couldn't have been any happier with the service they both gave and the knowledge and expertise they brought to the store. Would highly recommend this store if you're in the market for a new camera or anything camera related.

Amazing shop. Well stocked, happy helpful staff. Had developing done quick pickup. Sat in on a tutorial for a men's shed group. Received great advise, was entertained with beautiful programs of animals from Africa. What a treat.

I get my phone photos done at Ted's and often get confused. The staff are always polite, patient and friendly. A pleasant place to go.

Good product knowledge and straight answers. That's always a good outcome.
It's now a year later and I returned to the same excellent service, sales and above all consistent advice from staff. (G) was so very good to deal with. Purchased the latest in DSLR Canon and we are thrilled with the outcome. Unfortunately I report that the service has changed and there is no flexibility in the offerings at Ted's Maroochydore. Very disappointed, I'll be looking for alternatives, what a shame to go from a high achieving team to one that is 'unable' to assist.

Hi dear teds camera Maroochydore I have been in the shop 2 time's and I'm still having lots of problem's with my Nikon ZFC and I used to be a professional photographer I can't see why use can't change it over to a Nikon
D7500 with a Lens and a remote even I have seen professional photographers having proplems as well trying to sent them up as well kind it would be nice if I get a phone call back and last week I had to go back in the shop and now its a lot more worster than before I just cannot work it out its so very complicated kind regards

Went to this place for 2nd time n yesterday was asking an adapter. She's really friendly n helped me so much about what I need. Feel bad to bother her but she's happy to help.it's a good place to get camera n gears. All staffs r damn friendly. So it's a good place if Ur looking for new gears. So I recommended this place in sunny coast to get cameras n gears.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Dana, made it really easy to choose ted’s cameras to purchase a printer for my small business. She went above and beyond in her research and her assistance, making it easy to make financial choices. Cannot recommend the service from her and the Maroochydore team more highly!

Dana at Teds cameras was beyond helpful, my film camera my partner bought for me wasn’t working properly, she sorted it all out for me on the spot and really went to the extra effort. Walked out of there with my problem completely solved. She was helpful and knowledgeable! Would definitely shop there again because of the service I received today.:)

Start of the year, in a pinch, big pool party and birthday upcoming and needed the right tools to capture the day. Fortunately for me, Ted's Camera was open and Maddy was working. Maddy S.provided exceptional customer service, a smiling face, and honest upfront advice. I was able to snag two film cameras at a great price and have since had the film processed with the amazing team at Maroochy. Will absolutely continue sending everyone to Ted's at the plaza and continue to get advice and my film processed over at Ted's.

Great service from staff, have purchased binoculars and have been getting a huge amount of negatives & slides changed to photos and USB's. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff members offering various options.

Unfortunately I purchased quite a few thousands of dollars worth of equipment from Ted's (two nice cameras, 3 sets of lighting, lenses, sundries.) unfortunately due to staffing issues I never received the training or support I had anticipated from the store. I called the store approximately 10 times trying to attend one of their in-house courses but they never seamed to be running as no one was able to teach them and they wouldn't give out contact details for the person who had been tutoring. Months passed so I called up and asked if I could return the lights which were still unopened and in their original boxes and I even offered to pay a restocking fee (these lights took over a month to arrive in store). I found the manager (who never introduced himself) to be rude, he over talked me and made up his own mind without consulting the owner that he would not take them back. Fair enough I have had the products several months now but they are still current, on the shelf and still brand new / unopened. I even offered to pay a restocking fee (the lights were less than a quarter of the total value of what I spent in store) and expected a little consideration without the unhelpful, unprofessional attitude from the store manager. He did say I could pay them another $100 and attend a course in store but this has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am considering not even picking up a camera again.
