Ted's Cameras Brisbane

I had the pleasure of purchasing a camera from Belinda from this store. She was delightful and very helpful, she went above and beyond to assist with ensuring the camera was shipped to me before my departure overseas and followed up on several occasions to ensure a timely arrival. 10/10 would recommend shopping here and hopefully being looked after by Belinda!:)

The camera you are recommended and the price you are quoted on the phone are both unavailable when you come to the shop the next day. Instead the price climbs, discounts offered are obliterated by new charges added until the price is twice what was quoted. Then when you get the hideously expensive camera home and it does not perform as promised, when you take it in on the next business day for a refund, suddenly it is a "used" camera, not worth what you paid for it, and refunds are "not store policy". Only exchanges are allowed (totally contravening ACCC laws) so you have to continue the torture of dealing with them to get anything back for your money. Avoid these people. I saw a woman in tears because of this bullying treatment on Monday. I would have called the ACCC immediately!

Shout out to Callum and his professionalism, had a great customer experience. Callum listened to my photography requirements and went above and beyond to research, share his experience, allow me to demo options and order in a lens from another store that is perfect for my needs and in high demand. Would purchase from Callum again!

Went into Ted's Camera to purchase one of two binoculars.
I was ignored twice by the only free member of staff while he asked others if they were right.
They missed out on a $2000.00 sale.

I went to Ted’s the awesome gentleman if he can solve my canon remote having paring to my Canon M50, with a smile he fix my problem in seconds, Lleyton gave me a awesome smile and welcome when I say thank you to him, gave him a pet on his shoulder if any manager responsible of him. Lleyton you are a legend.

Vince was absolutely fantastic and answered all my questions without hesitation, he also gave me a great deal on my first mirrorless camera. Cannot recommend him enough, heaps of knowledge and experience with cameras!

I'm not sure how this bricks and mortar store competes with online. Went in to peruse compact cameras and was shown two of the same brand. The staff member serving didn't seem to have much knowledge and did all their searching online. An uninspiring experience.

Beyond excellent customer service from Callum. This young man was so helpful, great personal experience in photography and took the time to show me many different options of the products that I was wanting to buy. Even remembered me when I returned a week later. 100% recommend this store and if you can get served by Callum then that's a bonus.
