I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!
I went in yesterday, I was the only customer in the store, the two women or supposed shop assistants behind the counter both totally ignored me, after scanning shelves by myself for around 5 minutes without any luck, I approached the counter said my usual cheery “Hi, how are you” the woman looked at me and didn’t even utter a word, just stared at me with a foul look on her face, I thought maybe she didn’t hear my greeting, so I soldiered on and said “just wondering if you have this book” she finally acknowledged me by putting her palm up toward my face (to shut me up) then said “I cant deal with you I’m on a deadline, ask her” pointing to the other “shop assistant” who had also ignored me.
I then had to approach the second woman, who barely gave me a glance and once again no greeting whatsoever, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and said “Hi”, what I got in return was her glaring reply while she just about spat at me “whatdya want”, shocked I tried asking for the first book, she cut me off before I even had the chance to finish the title of the book “Nup we don’t have that book” so I tried asking for the second and again “no we don’t have that book either” I then asked “oh ok, will you be ordering more soon? ” She raised her voice at me with a cutting motion of the hand and said “no we’re not getting those books, just order them online yourself” I’m pretty shocked at myself because I was still stupidly polite and said “ok thanks anyway” neither of them even said goodbye to me they turned their back on me like I was in their way.
This is supposed to be an EDUCATION BOOK SHOP, yes I will buy my books online from now on of course, but I’ve been buying from them every year for 9 years and the staff used to be helpful. That customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. For the owners who need to know what their staff are doing I was there (Tuesday 8th February 2022 around 3pm) two Middle Aged ladies with bad attitudes

3 staff members at the counter blatantly ignored me when I walked in, one person who I thought was helping me answers his phone while ‘helping’ and ignored me. The 2 women on the counter were just talking and gave zero customer service. This is the second time I’ve experienced terrible service here. It’s obviously not a one off.

Great customer service and so easy to find what you need, especially when fulfilling booklists for school.

My wife went to pick up oir child's stationery. After knocking on their door and calling their number several times but no-one attended to her even though employees could see her through the window and she could hear the phone ringing. After more than half an hour waiting in the sun, someone came out to see her and she was able to collect the box of stationery. We have now discovered that there are items missing from the box. I have called them several times but no one answers. Very unprofessional!

I incorrectly purchased a dictionary in this years book supplies. Already having one from last year, I called to see if I could return it. They said they could not because I bought this as part of a booklist online. Just be wary - I understand if I was returning pencils but this is a $25 dollar text book. I will not be buying from here again and will be warning our P&C about this.

I rang on the first Thursday that school went back about two books I’d forgotten on the school list and he was able to have what I needed by Saturday! Great customer service and very friendly.

What a great family run business. For the past few years we have purchased our school supplies here and have always got what we needed. This year was no different. Thankyou for making this such an easy process every year!

This is a great family run business with super customer service. They picked all three of my book lists and they were delivered two days later. It's THE place to go to for book covers when all the stores run out in January - they have an awesome range from Spencil. The staff are really helpful and happy to help out. The prices are good too. We'll be back.

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever received! Between the attitude, miscommunication of information and lack of training I'm unsure where to start. Just disgusting customer service. My daughter has been without text books since January. Paid full price over the phone for text books in January and was told up to 7 days and I am only receiving them now due to my CONSTANT follow up. I expressed my experience with respect on 2 occasions and received no COMPASSION, no SORRY for the bad experience. I am business owner of 10 years and if I treated my clients this way I would not have a business. I cannot understand how this business is still operating with customer service so POOR. Never again! They don't deserve one star.

Staff are unprofessional having conversations amongst themselves while your in the middle of periods of silence without update. The prices are high and the return policy or lack of isn’t good. You can’t see what’s in stock and what’s not. No communication is sent about dates that orders will be disbatched, tracking numbers. When you phone the store they say it’s coming from a 3rd party and could arrive between this date and this date (2 weeks in my case) with no reference or tracking avaible. School is fast approaching and for people who work and are trying to get organised this isn’t the company you want to get your supply from.

GO to Office Works! I asked for a particular item in store the silly old bag thinks i'm stupid or something and tries to put the most expensive item in my basket. I grab the cheaper option and then she said Oh no the schools don't use that one.
Can't stand a business that tries to get what they can from you.
Office works is cheaper and you just give them or upload your school sheet online simple as that.
Be making it a note to my childrens school to go elsewhere.

Do not let you know when you purchase things online that the item you are buying is out of stock. You are able to purchase the item they don't have then have to wait ages while they get it in. When you enquire where your item is they advise its on back order and we don't know when we will receive it but it should be soon. Shame they let you buy things online without telling you the item is out of stock. If I had known this I would have bought my item from elsewhere.

Is too expensive on this shop. They will help you to put on the school stuffs that your kids needs but they will get all the expensive stuffs and put it in your basket. And then when you see the invoice you realize its triple expensive the price they have. When you want to return it they will not accept it. This is the only store that i know that they will not give you a refund. I will never ever recommend this shop. If you have time just go to officeworks much better their price than this shop.double and triple the prices in this shop!
