I was initially unsure about having a dress made because I didn’t completely know what I wanted and thought that I needed to BUT this definitely isn’t the case.

Susan is so great to work with and made the whole process so easy. She helped me work through all the decisions and helped me to consider aspects of the design I would have never thought about.

She provides great advice and I felt confident throughout the entire process that the end result would be wonderful.

I ended up at Susan's almost by accident when my original plan for my wedding dress fell through. She saved my bacon so to speak. Was serendipity at its finest as I couldn't have asked for a better person to bring my gown to life. Susan was professional, warm, direct, prompt at responding and took great care in every aspect of her dressmaking.she put so much thought into every final detail and it showed with the final result. I LOVED my dress, didn't want to take it off. It was so comfortable and I felt terrific in it. If you are after a very experienced Brissie based bridal designer / dressmaker, Susan is your gal! When i started my journey looking for a wedding dress, I really wasn't sure what my perfect dress would look like. Susan was so patient through many indecisive moments, offering her expertise and ideas and before I knew it she had created my perfect dress. When looking for my wedding dress, I tried on a few dresses off the rack which were nice but I didn’t love them and I wanted to change/add things. Then I found Susan. My entire experience with Susan making my wedding dress and veil was wonderful, exciting and fun. I told her what I was after (fitted corset waist, big “princess” skirt, long sleeves, button detailing) and she made it happen. She also gave invaluable advice and suggestions, on how to make each element of my entire look work perfectly, from getting the right shoes to complimenting my statement crown through her design work. The fabric she chose (dupion silk) was beautiful. I looked forward to going to each fitting and bringing along my mum and sisters. Susan is a master at what she does and she made my dream dress into a reality. I felt like royalty and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Susan.

Susan is incredibly talented and was an absolute pleasure to work with. After trying on so many wedding dresses in different stores I could not find anything I even liked, never mind loved. Susan however managed to create my dream wedding dress for me and I cannot thank her enough. She puts so much attention, time, skill and passion into her creations. It's very rare these days to be lucky enough to find a rare gem like Susan Ogg! From our very first meeting there was no doubt in my mind that Susan could transform my (vague) wedding dress vision into a reality.

An absolutely stunning dress that exceeded my expectations, I felt incredible and received so many complements. The quality of work was remarkable, the dress fitted perfectly and was comfortable to wear all day.
Not only is Susan's work amazing so is her personal service. Six weeks out from our wedding date, our plans changed by attempting a pre-COVID elopement. My dress had only just been started so I accepted that I wouldn't be wearing it. Susan however had different plans, insisting that I should be married in my dress and worked all weekend to finish it for me. Unfortunately COVID got in before we could elope, but true to her word a year late Susan re-fitted and altered anything that was needed.
