Had a small issue with a Yow surf-skate, but Andy from head office and Matt from the store were absolutely all over it. Champion blokes, phenomenal service, and really stoked with the outcome. Definitely my choice for surf goods from here on in

I've bought 3 shortboard in here for my friend who lives aboard the other day for his wedding anniversary present, and the owner, Matt said, "If you buy them, I'm gonna give you 3 tail pads. "

When it's delivered, there's no pads at all, so I went out of my way to the shop again, and asked him what's happened.

The first thing he said to me was "It should've delivered. " And he called to their warehouse, and they said to him they didn't do it.
After he said, "If you're gonna buy pads, I can deliver to post office. " So I was like, "but you said you give me 3 tail pads. It's on the house"

He was like, "I wouldn't give any tail pad for free. " "I told you they're free only if you deliver it by yourself. "

BUT HE DIDN'T SAY IT TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT IT, NEVER, EVER.

The funny thing is I told him to patch tail pads onto each board, and he said yes. Exactly yes, after I paid. And I did double check it, and he said yes. That was our last conversation.

He totally has changed what he said.
I feel like I got scammed even though I paid over 3000 bucks.
I wondered if he acted the same way, if I was aussie.

I don't normally leave a comment, but I should've and I'm hoping that if you wanna buy sth in here, you want to record or write down what you guys talk about.

Hands down some of the nicest blokes. Worth a while popping your head inside, they actually have a ton more boards then I expected and stock more high end surf accessories. (All the new Florence marine stuff and Patagonia) Going to be a regular here

So helpful, went in this morning with a snapped fin for a replacement set and the guys got the snapped off bits out for me with their tools and put the new set in for me, will definitely go back!

Went to the outlet store.
Absolute waste of time.
Me, surfer of 40 years, leather skinned and wiry.
Went in, the guy was busy doing something else, looked me over and said "nah, nothing here for you mate". I pulled two off the rack, these look good?
"Oh yeah I suppose", and then he walked back stage somewhere.
Hilarious! I left. Matches my hopeless online experience where I never heard from them after looking for a board. Thought face to face might be more successful.wrong!
Don't waste your time here. Kirra Surf has loads more stock and the service was great, bought a DHD Twin and Fins for a great price.

Lots of boards and gear. Super helpful, friendly, lots of knowledge of boards, styles and makers. Downside, nope not one i can think of

Always great customer service at Surfboard Empire, both in store and the online chat. I’ve gotten both a Pyzel Gremlin and just recently a Pyzel Phantom and they were spot on with the info about the boards, as well as the delivery being super fast. The Phantom has been the best board I’ve ever ridden from the very first wave. Super stoked.

On my 30th birthday a bunch of the boys chipped in some cash for a new board. I went to 3 different shops on the coast and no one gave me the time of day to offer advice and chat about where I am at and generally just talk boards, so I chose not to spend my money with them. Cabel at Surfboard Empire is a breath of fresh air and completely changed my opinion on general board retailers. I treated myself to an MR which I absolutely love and I will be going back to these guys for all my repairs and boards in the future. Legends!

Never bought a brand new board so was a bit nervous about parting with $$$, but I've since surfed it and can't believe what a great board it is and how much its improved my surfing. Had such a horrible experience with the previous owner but the new management team have bent over backwards to help me out and see me on the water with the best equipment. Kable and Matt know each board back to front and i wouldn't buy a board from anyone else.

The guys here are amazing! I've bought 2 boards, and 2 fins from here. Each time they've given amazing advice and good value. They ask you relevant questions and offer great details advice on what some good options are. They have a great range of second hand boards too. I used to shop at other surf shops. Now I just go here. Keep up the good work guys! Catch ya in the waves.
