Superfish Swim Schools Benowa

Initially, our experience with a consistent teacher for private lessons was positive. However, we encountered an unexpected and abrupt change without sufficient notice. This sudden change greatly distressed our daughter with autism. It is regrettable to note that the staff exhibited limited understanding of the potential impact such changes can have on individuals with autism. Despite expressing our concerns and seeking clarification, we received only one response which failed to address our questions. Furthermore, our attempt to escalate the matter to the owner was met with resistance. We are deeply disappointed by the lack of effective communication and empathy displayed by the institution. Based on our experience, we strongly discourage others from considering attendance here, as it appears the institution prioritizes financial gain over the well-being of families.

What a great first experience for my 3yr old! This family run business really takes pride in their staff, their environment & making sure you children are well looked after while there. The teachers are patient but firm which was great for my little boy to help him follow instructions & stay engaged throughout his lesson. They also have a great fenced play area out the front with lots of toys which is great if you arrive early or want to have a coffee after while the kids play! 10/10 from this mama!

My son has been taking swimming lessons with super fish for a few months now, but since he turned 3 he was suppose to go in the pool without us the parents, so we decided to move him to a private lesson which we had some trouble as we did not want to go anymore! But we were introduced to DIEGO and that was a massive change of improvement! What a fantastic swimming teacher he is! Enzo jumps in our pool at home with so much confidence and always asks for “ Ego” he can’t say Diego haha.

Good venue with easy parking. A bit noisy but all indoor pools are noisy. Went there for my 5 year old granddaughter who participated in group classes for a week and then 1 week private classes. She virtually did the same 5 exercises for the classes. Very repetitive. When I questioned the instructor I was told that they are only allowed to do what was prescribed for that group. A bit disappointed especially when you pay for private lesson, you would expect that the child would work at their individual level.

We had our first lesson with our little girl last Saturday and had the best experience. Everyone was so nice at the centre and the class was really enjoyable. I couldn't recommend these guys more!

The best swim school we have found! The pool and facilities are always super clean, the teachers all actually want to teach and are very patient and persistent. We have had miss Lauren and Mr Diego and they are both amazing! My girls have come along way with there swimming since joining super fish. No faults to be found by us ‍️

My daughter and I absolutely love this swim school. The attention given to proper stroke correction is at such a high standard that it cannot be found anywhere else. The instructors and all staff are friendly and accommodating to every child’s development.

My son has been having 1: 1 lessons at Benowa and I can say he is absolutely flourishing and doing really well and I highly recommend this to other parents. The instructors are lovely, as are the front desk staff. Very happy! Keep up the good work Superfish Benowa:)

The team are always friendly and helpful, a great place for the whole family. My 5 year old boy loves it, and Diego has made it so much fun that my 3 year old now can't wait to go every week.

Great swim school program, lovely centre, great teachers. Highly recommend the intensive programs to accelerate learning and refining skill.

Super fish is a great place to swim at if you are swimming for fun but once you get to the highest level and are a serious swimmer or want to get higher it is better to go to the aquatics centre, TSS ect.as they have more opportunities for those people. I have got to the highest level at super fish and was at that level for about a two years, I feel that I could have moved to these places during that time and might have been at a much higher level right now. So it would be good if super fish could add more levels/stages going more into the higher stages and I feel this would have more serious swimmers swimming there as I enjoyed it very much there but felt that i wasted my time when I found out about these other places. Plzzz add more lvls I miss going there.

Amazing on every level. Beautiful staff who actually teach kids the importance of water safety and how to swim. Highly recommend

I am very disappointed at the Benowa Super Fish front desk. There is a particular staff member who frequently is unfriendly, very rude and unprofessional. It has made it a very bad experience, I will not be going back.

My son has attended Superfish Benowa for about a year now and he loves it. The facilities are great, classes very well organised and his instructor Joshua is great with him and the other kids. His swimming skills and confidence in the water keep improving every week, and he always leaves class with a smile on his face.

We couldn’t be happier at Superfish Swim Schools, Benowa. Our daughter’s been attending weekly lessons since she was 11 weeks old. I can confidently say if it weren’t for her lessons, she wouldn’t feel as ‘at home’ in the water, as what she does 18 months on. A big shout-out to Kerryn Harber for being such a fantastic teacher, giving great advice and always making the lessons fun!

After trying several different swim schools we joined Superfish Benowa 2 years ago, and have been coming here ever since.
The teachers and staff are all so friendly and encouraging, and the facilities are the best we've seen - especially the change tables with optional heat lamps which are so important for the babies during winter.
We're happy to be SUPERFISH!

My son has been to Benowa Superfish since he was a baby. At 4 years of age, he has had Dana as a instructor/coach for just under a year. Dana has managed to turn my son from a child who fears the water to a child who cannot get enough of swimming and often ‘practices’ what he has been taught in the bath tub.

Superfish have helped our kids be more confident in the water. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for lessons

Just started swimming lessons here and both I and my kids are loving it. Amazing staff, great facility.
