Super Performance Centre reviews
11I had a fantastic experience at Super Performance Centre! The coaches are dedicated and supportive, creating a positive and encouraging environment. The facility is well-maintained, and the diverse range of classes ensures there's something for everyone. My child has gained confidence, strength, and valuable skills. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality gymnastics instruction!
My experience with this gym was very disappointing.
To start from a positive note, equipment was fairly good.
But the owner was arrogant, instructor, techniques and policies were dissapointing and disrespectful to customers.
Starting from warmup excersises, where wrists are usually not properly warmed up and excessively excersised straight away in warmup with handstands and bridges. Being a trained instructor in other fitness, it is obvious to me that this is a dangerous practice, needless to say that my wrist got injuried. When I mentioned this out to the instructor, I was told that I am different and this warmup is good for everyone else, I should do my own warmup (which ia fine but dangerous practice should continue for everyone else). Eventually, when I point this out to the intructor instead of complaining to the owner, I was blamed for breaching their code of conduct (yes, need to shut up and stay quite until you die), and the insurance they made athletes pay is useless too. Did not look like they cared when I mentioned the injury at all, and it seems to be not a condition coverred in insurance and you need to fill bloody long forms to sumbit a claim, just perfect to do so with injuried wrist!
Needless to say that other gymnastic gyms in Australia that I've been to had more reasonable prices and did not demand athletes to pay expensive and useless insurance, and had wooden boards for handstands, so the wrists would not be overloaded on the soft floor.
Additionally, the instructor would not spot you if you ask, 'because of covid', which does not quite make sence as I practice other fittness activities that involve physical contact and instructor would help and spot students given the same regulations. Also, the SPC instructor would always say that you are doing good even if you know that you are not (I am not paying to be told that I am doing good when I know that I am not), if you are not happy with your results that's a breach too.
And their online form to book just does not work from mobilie, so one has to do it one a computer all the time, sometimes on their computer, filling up your card details in front of the whole class since there is no even option to mask them (and then being surpise seing fraudulent transactions).
So if you value your physical and mental health, want to save yourself from troubles and improve your skills, better choose another gym.
Disgraceful behaviour. We have been locked out of QLD for the last 3 months, Have spoken to the owner who basically called us 'liars' and said that people say anything to stop a direct debit. We have continued to pay this for 4 months, and our daughter has not attended once. We are locked out of QLD. I have called more than 4 times and given a multitude of ridiculous excuses. DONT DO IT. They wont stop the direct debits. Every other company (about 10), have stopped or paused debits. Not this place. There must be other people out there. Please speak up. Ive never written a ONE STAR review. But this is theft.
Convenient location, professional team, perfect facilities. I enjoyed Adult training classes, and my children are very enjoying with gymnastics, trampoline and ninjas in SPC, my boy told me SPC means super professional center.
We have been involved with SPC for the past 2 years and it has been an absolute pleasure. Our children have gained great confidence within themselves and, we could not be happier with the efforts and performance given by management and coaching staff
SPC is easily the best gym on the Gold Coast. The knowledge and expertise of the trainers is unparalleled. My kids love it! I can also recommend the adult classes!
Both our kids have been attending SPC and improving on their gymnastics skills and overall fitness. The coaches are very professional and our kids are improving each time. The facilities are top notch, always clean and tidy. We couldn't be happier!
My kids have done the gymnastic and ninja school holiday camps here, and are also enrolled in weekly gymnastic classes. Staff are really friendly and the kids always have a great time.
First lesson today was advised to go wait in the allocated area and the instructor will collect the children for the lesson. My daughter Missed out on 10 minutes of the lesson and we were waiting for no reason.
If you have this rule due to Covid follow it as you lost a customer today.plus you have to follow it by law as a health and safety requirement.
Super Performance Centre offers so many fantastic programs all in the one place! They do girls and boys gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, martial arts, parkour, circus and have an amazing trampoline and ninja zone for free play! It’s one of a kind with fantastic equipment, quality coaches and great customer service!
Fantastic club! Great coaching staff and talent development, especially for the girls. Found there was plenty of guidance and opportunities for children at all levels. Highly recommend checking out SPC.
