Super Butcher Oxenford

Have been there twice and the service is terrible, asked if they had a had a certain flavour in the pies and was told “im not sure” didn’t even bother looking? Went this morning and got given mince that is not extra lean beef as in the protein pack as advertised, told me it would be cheaper if I bought the protein pack separately but charged me more? Staff are useless! Don’t shop here.

Great butchers, friendly staff, large range including 5 packs for $50 option. They even slice and vacuum pack bulk purchases!

We bought a range of meat from the Oxenford Shop. The meat was Outstanding, as was the service and pricing. We will be back very soon.

The Beef mince in the 5 for $50 was excellent. I made the best Ragu sauce and Lasagne ever, Thank You

Always get our meat here. If ever any issues they are amazing. Best place I have been for quality, variety and price. All staff are great

We are from country nsw and this rib eye that we purchased is the worst meat ive ever purchased its tougher than any meat i have tasted before

Great range of meat and products at a good price. With some excellent service and advise on the best cuts for your needs.

Where do we start.
1. Buying rotten meat is far too common here.
I bought a piece of pork scotch fillet this morning only to open the bag to the most foul sour smell. This has happened a few times here. I don’t know why I went back.
2. Customer service is appalling
I spent nearly $80 at the store including buying charcoal, smoking chunks, sauces and meat to get ready for a good day of smoking. After taking the rotten meat back (1.5 hrs in the car for all 4 trips) I explained my situation to what I believe to be the manager only to be told that the best they could do was a like for like replacement of meat or a discount. How about the money I had spent on petrol and your expensive wood that I had burnt on the smoker to no avail? This person then also explained it was not Super Butcher’s fault but the suppliers fault? This is your meat! Real customer service would have been offering an apology and trying to work with me with around a satisfactory result - I was out of pocket $50 at this point. No one cared or listened. Instead I was told that I could call the store manager at 2 when he was in (how about you ring me? - I did think I was one of your valued members after all you spam me at least weekly with your cheap deals). I attempted to call said store manager at 3 however he was not available.
3. Hygiene/safety
I had also explained to one of the other staff (the second time I had gone back to return the off meat) that he was best of checking some of the same meat with expiry dates within the week. No care factor at all.

Stay clear. This is a place with cheap, nasty cuts of meat with inflated prices. Staff are also not trained in good customer service so sadly Super Butcher does not have much going for it. Stick with your local butcher.

Staff working on this Sunday morning provided zero level of service. Was ready to do monthly stock up and ended up putting everything back due to really rubbish service. Team behind counter looked dirty and fresh from the crack pipe. Shame. The staff and service at this place used to be first rate. Will shop elsewhere from now on.

Always quality meat. Get what you pay for

Have been back and it seems to be missing all my favorite specials. The 5 for 50 used to be awesome value for the family. But have been struggling to find any value in it.

Great place to shop if you like old cryovaced meat which has turned. Happened to me more than a few times now. Don’t trust the expiry dates. Go to your local butcher - at least you know it will be fresh.

Whether it's shopping for our family of 8 (including a little one) or shopping for the monthly work cook up we wouldn't stop anywhere else! Great work team keep it up.

The only place to go for all your meat.
Ran into Bluey our last 2 visits and walked away informed and with more understanding on picking out quality steak and preparing/cooking it better too. Got a whole rib fillet and a rump chosen for us by Bluey and my god both have been delicious. Sorry Bluey but if we see you in store when we are there we will be asking for your selection everytime. Pay rise needed.

Got 2 racks of the USA pork Ribs and asked the butcher behind the counter if he could remove the membrane off the ribs, well this is where it was like he threw his toys out of the pram. I was told that I watch too many cooking shows and that the membrane doesn't need removing all while he was mumbling under his breath and shaking his head like a spoilt little child. Well the ribs were fantastic thanks with the membrane removed. However as a customer you made me feel belittled so this will be the last time I ever set foot in Oxenford super butchers due to the arrogance of this man child. You are meant to offer a service and at which I would had received better at Woolies across the road. Time to find a better butcher that actually treats customers with some respect. PS all the other staff on that day were great apart from the butcher behind the glass fridges. Maybe management need to give this butcher another "staff development day".

Meat is always top quality from here, but sometimes it really does have a price to match. Very friendly, and very helpful staff here though

Got an amazing scotch fillet on special from the diamond range. It was so tender and yummy talk about an amazing selection of meat highly recommend:)

I always visit the super butcher when I'm at the Gold Coast. Always a huge range, quality products and friendly service.

Amazing service, the quality of meats is amazing and the staff are extremely knowledgeable.

If you want quality, just go there.

Fantastic butchers tried the bacon, wow just like the old fashion taste & cooks beautifully!
Also purchased some pork chops from butcher case, melted in our mouths.yummy. We always purchase Chicken schnitzel various crumbs to chose from.
