I took my two kids to see Dr Jenny Buteri for the first time today. Upon arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and kind. Dr Buteri was amazing with both kids and very thorough answering all my questions and made our next appointment very clear including fees, procedures etc. Highly recommend

It has been some time since my last visit to this surgery.
It certainly has got busier but still hasn’t lost that family friendly atmosphere.
Dr Johnson was thorough & added a few more tests that I hadn’t thought about.
I hope he sticks around for a while

I have been seeing Dr Ganter not long after the practice opened and since I was 9 years old. He is the only Doctor I trust with both acute and chronic illnesses, as he provides the best health care in the whole of QLD. He is fantastic at giving a thorough explanation and clear path on the next steps for your health.

I have seen 2 of the drs and are extremely happy with the time they took with me and explaining results so thoroughly. Front desk staff are always smiling.

Issues with follow ups of blood tests ordered by GPs and then having to pay to get the results. No other GPs elsewhere ask someone to call us to make an appointment to get results. Told one thing one day, then weeks later, something else. Rude receptionists, we check in online to avoid them. Dr Hannan is fine, as are the nurses, others not so great with standard operating procedures. After 3 years decided to find a practice that merits private billing.

Had my first time visit to Sunstate with my very sick daughter and was so thoroughly impressed by the personable, caring staff and great service. Dr Vu was so caring and thorough. He really took the time to be kind and sensitive to a little girl who was so miserable. Thanks Sunstate Practice

Have been coming here since they opened when I was a little kid but after today I won’t be back. My appointment today was a follow up (from a procedure I’d already paid hundreds for) and I was in with the doctor for no longer than 2 minutes. I asked if they’d bulk bill considering how short the appointment was and the doctor was late. They refused and told me the doctor I saw doesn’t bulk bill. After medicare it came out as $50 for the 2 minute appointment… I know the doctors here work hard but we’re all struggling at the moment and $50 for less than 2 minutes of their time just isn’t okay.

Last 7 years we are using sun state family practice they used to be very good. The front receptionist was so arrogant and treated us like we are getting free service. We are coming there not for free service we are paying from our Pocket and you guys not doing bulk billing. Keep in mind customers are your backbone for your business. If no customer no business so make sure the management give an appropriate training to the front staff

The Drs are great, but the receptionists could really do with some extra training to keep their personal life and patient information confidential and act abit more professional while gathered behind the desk while there's a full room of patients to be seen while having to sit and listen to all their in appropriate chit chats with one another. Very very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

The best medical surgery ever! We have two young children and they are always sick with various daycare illnesses and we have had a few serious issues with our littles bub. They always manage to get us a same day appointment. We have pretty much seen every Dr that works there. They have all been amazing and thorough and will advise if we should go to the hospital. Highly recommend!

Do you have a family? I have two kids and they are not always unwell with Fevers, Falls or Sore Throats when an appointment is available with the Dr they saw in their last visit.

For this reason it was so important for me to find a Dr Surgery where I trust all of the Dr's. Having seen every Dr over the years, I can assure you that they are really ethical and will talk to you and your children in a way that is age appropriate and nurturing and did I mention Jellybeans!

We hope not to see them often, but know we are in good hands when we have to. I am happy to award 5 star service for every DR here!

Useless practice with an incompetent doctor (Chau Vu) who misdiagnoses simple cases and has no knowledge of basic standard operating procedures regarding health issues. I would suggest taking your family somewhere else that actually cares for their patients wellbeing.

Great practice, nothing is ever a problem. Consistently high quality care from doctors and staff.

Highly recommended. Our usual doctor couldn't fit in my sick 8 month old baby and I called sunstate having never been there before but were recommended by our daycare centre. I didn't even get a chance to explain his symptoms or why i wanted him looked at sooner rather than later and the lovely receptionist cut me off and said don't worry, we will fit him in, bring him in now. The staff were super friendly. Exactly what you want in a family doctor. We will be transferring our families medical files to them and going there from now on!

An excellent family practice. We have seen three doctors and they are all brilliant. The reception staff are fabulous. I recommend it it highly.
