Sunny's Axe Throwing

Really fun activity! It’s pretty reasonably priced and the guys were really cool and great coaches!:) I would definitely recommend Sunnys axe throwing to people for something fun to do, and I will definitely be back!

My partner and I visit this place for anniversaries and birthdays and absolutely love it. Have a great time every time and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice and don't make you feel like a doodle for needing adjustments.

We had a great time - very fun way to spend the late afternoon LOL. The guys there were very helpful (and patient) - cheers for that. Great family event and our littlies were pretty well behaved watching us "adults" throw axes around. Not sure when. BUT we will be back: -D

We had a brilliant time at Sunny's Axe Throwing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were sticking axe's in the wood in no time then playing a bunch of different games they had. This is a must if you're on holidays like we were. And if you like games like darts, pool or bowling you owe it to yourself to give this a try!

So much fun, we had a group of ten for a buck party. The stuff are very friendly, love axe throwing and are very happy to answer any questions you might have. 10 out 10.100% would go again.

This was so much fun.
Shaun and Dani were excellent and their tips really helped us to get those axes into the target.
We all had a ball and will definitely be returning with others.

The staff were great at communicating prior to day. Staff were energetic on the day and really helpful. It was great receiving help to throw, but wasn’t overdone and having fun was the main focus. It was an activity for a Hens party and it was a fun group activity to start the day! Great place. Would recommend!

If you're uhmming and ahhing about whether you should try axe throwing, hesitate no more! An "absolute must" activity to be done whilst visiting the Sunny Coast! Our instructor Shaun had us sticking our axe throws in no time and we had a blast for the entire session. Great vibes, great venue and bloody brilliant hosts. They even let us have our full session despite the fact that we were late to the start time due to traffic!

Never done axe throwing before, I didn’t know what to expect! Heaps of games to work through, made it so much fun and a little competitive with our group.
The team were so lovely, supportive and helped with technique!
If you haven’t tried it before, it’s worth a go!

An amazing place you WOODn't want to miss Shaun and Dani (the owners) have done an outstanding job at creating an axe throwing venue that really hits the spot. The atmosphere is inviting and their coaching sessions will make you an AXE-pert in no time. 100% recommend Sunny's for a great time throwing metal at wood.

Loved these guys! Great communication and help with a group booking, flexible when colds and flus led to a reschedule, and great help on the day. The owners hung around and helped with advice all the way through our session. A very highly recommended business.

90 minutes was way too long for our group with just 2 axes to throw. They have some games to play which spice it up a bit.
I understand why there is no access to alcohol. Axes can bounce back. Safety would be a major concern.
Maybe some virtual throwing, or a couple of dart boards on the wall to mix it up? Even other target sports? Gel blaster target shooting? Carnival games? Anything to break it up, and maybe allowing the non axe throwers to have a cold beer.
