Good Doctors - to the point - wait time was 40 mins late to the appointment but that’s the only negative

Doctor was good for first time experience but sadly need to give this place a 1 star review. The old receptionist lady was disgusting rude and laughed in the most spiteful manner after telling off my kids!

I have never come across such a terrible receptionist in my lifetime. Either she was being racist or just hates kids. Definitely shouldn't be working in this sort of industry when she can't even talk to kids in the right manner.

My wife waited more than 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Covid injection today. The waiting is too long and time wasting and tiring. Please make an improvement on this. Do not let the patient wait too long.

Our Gp is very competent and explains the situation really well. We have also seen other doctors there and they are as competent. The availability of a dietician. Pathology, exercise physiologist and pharmacy are an added bonus. Highly recommend it.

Very helpful, very professional. Reception cares as much as the doctors and nurses do which was a comfort.

I booked my flu vaccination appointment one day before the appointment date. When I reached there, the receptionist couldn't find me on the system. Took 10 to 15 minutes, but still no luck, then asked me to fill the forms that we did. Then the doctor called us and couldn't find me either on the system. The doctor kept arguing about why I didn't make a phone appointment for my daughter's result and why I was prescribed antibiotics on my last visit with another doctor. Then we waited for another half an hour for our vaccination which was not available and receptionist went to buy them as we waited there. So to get the vaccination for our family took more than an hour. Really Disappointed
UPDATE: if receptionist can't find my booking, then it's not my fault as I have made the booking for four people around 1 days before my appointment time.
Secondly rather than taking my money in full and making me and my little children to wait for an hour. They could have said, that do not have the vaccination and I could have gone somewhere else. Secondly, doctors don't know how to talk with the patients. This is not happened once but many times.

Best doctors! The reception team are always very friendly and helpful. Have been using these doctors for over 1 year now also the rest of my family use these doctors. Dr M Kahn is my doctor definitely recommend him he’s an awesome doctor. Thank you SHFP

I have been at this Family Practice for over 13 years. My regular doctor is awesome just like a family member. Thoroughness is what I absolutely admire in my doctor and when she's not available, I see another, who I also feel comfortable with. Reception staff are great as well. I would encourage anyone to register with this Family Practice. Cheers, a very happy patient

I’ve been here twice now for an infusion and the service is fantastic. Quick, easy, and professional. Ruba the Nurse has helped me both times and she is so lovely and helpful. Even listening to her help other patients - she is the kindest.

I loved it and usually see doctor Khan. I have been coming here since 2018, today needed a doctor to do a citizenship witness declaration for me. Now this not something a JP could do so I booked an appointment here as a GP could do it (according to the form).
The doctor who attended us charged a private fee of 75 dollars for what is a normal courtesy in a civilised society.
I don’t lament the money but I would not like to attend this place again which would stoop down this low.

Visited the practical over weekend. Booking online appointment was very easy. Reception staff and doctor were very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely consider it for future medical needs for me and my family

We absolutely love this practice. All the doctors are nice but we especially love Dr, Hannan khan. The best amazing dr that we have ever had

The practice staff were lovely and incredibly helpful in securing a same day appointment for me, however the service provided by Dr Karam was abysmal.

The appointment was made on the advice of 13Health and after being unable to secure an appointment at my usual GP.

Terrible bedside manner aside, Dr Karam failed to obtain any necessary information such as pre-existing medical conditions and medications, and additionally did not ask any of the necessary follow up questions to obtain a baseline understanding of my reason for attending the appointment. Dr Karam continuously interrupted and shut down any conversation and treated me as if I was drug seeking, despite the purpose of my visit not being to obtain medication.

Dr Karam attempted to write me a script for a medication that was contraindicated with another of my medications (which he was unaware of due to having not bothered to obtain this information), and then proceeded to argue that this was not contraindicated despite this information having been provided to me by my treating specialist and written information supplied when initially being prescribed the medication. He then wrote me a script for prodeine stating “this will fix you” and then abruptly ended the appointment.

These negligent actions and behaviours exemplify systemic issues that continue to create barriers and risks for patients and indicate that Dr Karam has failed to uphold practice that is in line with current holistic models of health care.

No information provided about private billing on weekends when booking over the phone. No information of this when booking online and no major notices displayed at the practice of this information. When asked the receptionist the only answer I got was "This has been the practice for Months". How are new patients such as me supposed to know about this? Very upset to walk into a surprise like this when not at all feeling well physically. Very poor practice.
