Sunglass Hut Pacific Fair

I went into the store at a fairly busy time, mid afternoon on Saturday the 5th of August. I had been looking for a pair of Ray-Ban Caravans for several weeks but the Classic model isn't available in store anymore. Both staff members a young guy and girl helped me with sizing, placed the order online for me, took my payment instore (instead of using credit card online). I was a bit worried about the sizing but the glasses came today and they are perfect. I'm writing this review in the hope that the manager sees it and passes on my thanks to the staff involved, as much as to let everyone know how good the service was. At the time I did forget to request my prescription, that's my fault not the staffs, so I've made an appointment at OPSM for tomorrow to have the prescription lenses put in.

Cody is the best and most helpful employee I have ever spoken too. He is well mannered and resembles Chris Hemsworth which made my experience even better. The other female staff member who’s name I didn’t catch was also extremely helpful and polite and they make a great team between the two. Got a great pair of sunnies from two great members of the Sunglasses Hut crew.
Thank you Sunglass Hut Pac fair for making my experience a memorable one. They both deserve a raise.

Have purchased sunglasses from the hut for 3-4 years using their 50 % 1 year replacement/repair offer
Was shocked today to be told by the male salesman that they don’t offer this service anymore and haven’t for over two years. He was adamant even though I had a digital certificate in my inbox on phone. The store wasn’t that busy this male salesman was not behind the actual counter. Thinking he mat have been a supervisor or assistant manager
So I left disappointed As I left with my partner I thought I would ring the Robina store. Could not believe that everything this so called representative of the Sunglass Hut franchise do not even know or didn’t even care to check my receipt or seem to have the time to care.
So drove an extra 30 min to get service from a sunglass hut store
Poor service and no customer care whatsoever

Store was pretty busy when I went in, but the sales person I was served by was readily available to assist whenever I needed.

Amazing customer service from the lovely lady who helped us in store when buying our new sunglasses. Made us feel comfortable to try on the different glasses. Helping us with choosing products to look after our glasses as well.shop presented extremely well - large selection - fully recommend this shop and the staff.

Great service. I had sunglasses that I brought from the same store, they were unfortunately beyond repair. Staff offered me a great deal and made the process very quick. I left the store with new sunnies.

Sacha did a brilliant job looking after me. She looked at my history and showed me all the options for my requirements from previous purchases, vs simply pushing the most expensive product.

I've walked in quite a few stores in the last few months (Interstate as well) looking for a particular style, and never had the same help as I did with Sacha.

I didn't have to be in the shop long as my experience in trying on options was refined. I would certainly look at giving her some continued development, she's a keeper.

Onto the available products available, I love that there's always good options across the brands.

Fantastic experience today with Kiera, she helped out myself, my wife and our daughter, left with 3 amazing pairs of glasses.

Fantastic service and extremely helpful! I purchased a gift card for my father in law for sunglass hut (at a different store), when we went to use it here (pac fair), it said it had no money on it and turns out the other store never put money on it - which may I add that store didn’t seem to want to take any form or responsibility and fobbed in off like not there issue.
Rebecca, who was serving me was straight onto the phone to head office and the other store and cleared everything up within 30 minutes.
Very thankful as it wasn’t a small amount of money and was also someone’s gift. Experiences like this make me happy as this is how business should be done.
As being and employer myself, I would say if I had someone like that working for me, that’s who I’d be giving every opportunity for career growth. Thanks again.

Return online orders at post office! Two staff members including Tia, chose to close the shop during opening hours at 9: 10 am, in order to take a break together. I arrived to return an online order, as they were closing the shop. I was turned away. I asked how long they might be, was told 20mins, but I had to leave to work, and couldn’t wait around. I returned two days later and was told returns couldn’t be processed due to computer error and sent to another Sunglass hut within pacific fair.

I went to the other shop and the red headed staff member was oddly snarky. At the second shop I mentioned the other shop being closed during opening hours and she snapped back “they had just done 3 hours of stocktake, you have to give it to them”. I don’t begrudge anyone taking a break, but closing during opening hours and directly turning away a customer is unprofessional. Seem more enthusiastic to make a sale than help with a return. Was then informed that all Sunglass hut shops are unable to process returns, so time wasted. Sunglasses hut often have issues with their computer system I was told. Save the hassle of dealing with unpleasant and unprofessional staff -return though post office.
