Sunglass Hut

Strongly recommend to go to another store. I bought a pair of sunglass (AUD 300 plus) from this store about 2 months ago and one of the lenses fell off literally on the first trip. That was the first time i wore these glasses. Went back to claim the warranty and they rejected it. On the way back home I went to the Mt Gravett store and said what happened. Didn’t even take 2 minutes, they gave me another set of new pair, apologized and made sure screws are tightened in the new pair.

Went to the store on Sunday. Three assistants. All chatting happily together. We were there 10 minutes and not one came to offer service. They lost two sales because we both needed new sunglasses. Hopeless.

The Sales assistant was very pleasant and informative to make my choice a lot easier for a pair of Raybans

The girl on the desk was so unfriendly very unprofessional, she doesn’t know what she’s, I spent 30 minutes just wait her doing many calls for her supervisor, very bad service

I had very bad experience here. I don't have 0 star for customer service that am willing to give. There was girl at the desk I ask for Rayban glasses that i was looking to purchase I was trying them cause there was 2 in different size. Now, I want to try again because those are different in size I left the one open and place it on the table. I was trying to be careful because I Don't want to damage the glass but the girl standing at the customer service folded them and said do it like this and start laughing that was in the way insulting w. Sometimes overconfident can gives u a bad experience. I straight away left the shop and bought them from Garden city.

I purchase a pair of ray bans The screw fell out Not covered under warranty.
They said all screws must be Titan once a month Day said die tell everybody that on purchase which is an outright lie Don't purchase from here.

Bought RB3478 more than a year ago at DFO Outlet. After couple of months, the screw started to loosen. After a few trip back to Sunglass Hut in Brisbane CBD and Indro to tighten the screw, they decided to replace the screw. The screw was faulty. However, after a few weeks, it became loose again. I brought it to DFO outlet. They examined the sunglass and they replaced it a brand new one. After a 2 days, the Rayban emblem fell off the frame. I managed to stick it. Let's see how it goes after a few days.

Wanted to buy sunglasses, spent about half an hour at Sunglass Hut DFO to choose proper ones. Staff was helpful and pointed on the racks with discounts, but price labels provided misleading information about the price. It was an indicated price and 30 % discount on it but only on a cash desk I found out that this price already includes the discount.
In this case I have canceled buying.

I asked to have a chat with a manager, however, the nanager was not in the shop that time. Asked, for some smaller discount (not 30 %) but was refused by a shop assistant. Moreover, personnel of the shop pointed that the price labels is the policy of the company.

To sum up, price labels works for hooking up buyers providing wrong and misleading information about the real price in hope that a client would not refuse to buy liked item on a cashdesk.
Visiting of the Sunglass Hut DFO was a useless wasting of time. Frustration and disappointment what is left after this visit. Way to go!

After that I went to Florentine Eyewear and bought glasses there.

Manager was rude there was scratches on the sunglasses. We ask for another piece as her colleague confirmed that we have new piece. But she denied to give the new piece.

5 star's, for customer service, professional staff, outstanding range of products.
