6 Amazing club - highly recommended!
People join clubs for all sorts of reasons. Let me tell you why I have stayed with the Sun Bae Taekwondo and Hapkido club since 2016.
Fun - In all the time I have been going, no 2 classes have been the same. I never could motivate myself to go to the gym consistently, but TKD is so engaging and social I look forward to classes.
Family - my wife, daughters and son are in the club too. Sharing each other’s experiences and training together has made us a closer knit family. We talk about it and practice outside classes. TKD is helping me spend more time with my family.
Fitness & Personal Growth - I am over 50 and can confidently say that I am fitter and stronger now than I was when I was 25. I have seen real change in my kids too. They have grown in self discipline, resilience and confidence.
This is my experience. But don’t believe what you read. Come and see; shake my hand. I'm the tall guy with the glasses. I wear a black belt now (gained Aug 2020), but I am really friendly, so don't be put off. I won’t put my full name on the Internet, but if you’ve read my story you’ll know who I am.

Great club! 4 years in and all 5 family members still going strong. Spoilt with a husband and wife Instructor Team, giving the benefit of different physical and emotional strengths. Both Instructors are technically brilliant, extraordinarily patient and innovative in their approaches - including regular fun for both the kids and adult classes. All 5 of us are stronger, fitter, more resilient and happier for the experience. Keeps us connected as a family, especially through the teenage years. Thank you Instructors Ben and Nicole!
My son and daughter have been training at Sun Bae at The Gap for 11 years and 6 years respectively. After watching on for many of those years, I started training with them a few years ago. Individually we each get so much out of the training but the unexpected benefit has been the value to us as a family group doing this together. Would recommend it to anyone.
This is a great club for the whole family. Instructor Ben and Instructor Nicole really know how to make classes fun, interesting and build your Taekwondo skills. Highly recommend!
