5My son and I have joint Sun Bae Toowoomba about one and half years ago. Instructor John is a genuinely nice, friendly and professional person, he really knows about Taekwondo. As Taekwondo beginners, we learnt how to improve our physical fitness, technical and taekwondo skills. We are very happy to find an excellent Taekwondo instructor, John, in Toowoomba. If you are looking for a taekwondo instructor, John is the best choice in Toowoomba.
These sessions are so fun providing rhythms and rituals for the mind and the body.
I am 47 years of age and have just started Kumdo classes. I have been able to quickly pick up the techniques required, under the professional and supportive training of Instructor John. The other students are helpful and welcoming and we all learn together. I have immediately started to build my fitness, flexibility and knowledge of one of the best fighting arts.and hey you get to play with swords! Highly recommend coming and joining.
We have been members of Sun Bae Toowoomba since 2017 and John Handyside is an excellent instructor and the club is like a big family! It's great for all fitness levels and for beginners, intermediate and experienced. Highly recommended for fitness and learning a new sport.
Great club! My family visited from Brisbane (where we train with another Taekwondo club). We loved Instructor John's adult and kids classes. He is amazing with kids. For example, he played tiggy with them as a warm up activity; I have never seen a martial arts instructor create such an atmosphere of happiness and fun. He must be a great dad. The adult class was excellent too. I am working towards my black belt and found the class challenging to my fitness and my skills.
