Strong Movers

We booked our move for today (26 Oct) a few days ago. When we made the booking, we asked for a morning start and the response was a vague yes. However we received a text message last night at 6pm saying that they would come around 12 today because of a big job that they couldn’t finish yesterday. We had little choice but to accept the late start. Today at around 12: 30pm, we got another message saying that they won’t be able to come until 4: 30. Given how much time it may take to load and unload, it is foreseeable that we won’t finish everything until late tonight. This is unacceptable to us as we would have been waiting to move for a whole day. We called them a couple of times to explain our situation but no response at all. Left without a choice, we were forced to find a last minute replacement to move this afternoon.

Regardless of the circumstances, it is unprofessional to schedule a booking while repeatedly change the time. They don’t have any backup plan if a job goes longer than expected. The customers are left to fend for themselves. The lack of timely communication makes things even worse. So it doesn’t seem that this is a trustworthy and professional company. Very disappointed!

I highly recommend Strong Movers! I have used their service 4 times in the last 8months. I have found them to be very professional, hard working, affordable, honest, reliable everytime trust worthy taking great care with my belongings! They have also been extremely understanding & empathic in the stressful times ive moved! Thanks again guys for helping me in those last minute bookings I'd be in troubled if it wasn't for you!

Arrived one hour late for job. Damaged my belongings. Dirty marks all over brand new couch from dirty hands and a dirty truck. Would have been about 30 different handprint marks on couch and unable to remove marks. Will now have to get a cleaner to attempt this. When I advised the company they said it was my fault for not having a couch cover. They also stole an entire bag with all of our alcohol. They then overcharged me by 200 dollars. When I tried to discuss this issue they then threatened me to take all of my belongings. They are A bunch of bullies and are completely unprofessional. Please do not deal with this company. An extremely traumatic experience and I have never ever had an issue with other moving companies prior to this occasion.

Great service.stairs are quite tight, but managed to get the fridge up them. Thank you, will definitely use again:)

Best removal I have had in a long time. The guys were on time and nothing n g was to hard for them to do especially getting my dining table out and half over a fence to get into the truck.
I would highly recommend Strong Movers to anyone that is about to do a move.

We had so many dramas with our outdoor spa being moved and I was ready to throw in the towel. Before finding these guys, we had tried 2 removal companies which scammed us and just wouldn’t show up or return our calls. Honestly it made me lose faith in trusting my money to any removal company at all. These guys I found on a whim and my husband and I are SO glad we did. They were so helpful and responsive, and they did the job sooner than we thought. They treated our spa with care, were super super friendly, and actually communicated with us which we weren’t at all used to from other companies we dealt with. If you’re thinking of moving anything, seriously don’t bother with anyone else. These guys are friendly, affordable, and do a darn good job. Thanks so much guys! Saved my sanity, for real.

I witnessed the cowboys at my sister's move they say anything to secure the job they turned up with a wrong sized truck did not get all of the belongings items left with a half a truck left most of my items behind said they were fully loaded in my opinion they are liars and thief's over charge for hours that they we're there.very unprofessional don't hire bunch of liars and unprofessional.

I had originally lined up Brenden from River City Removals for my move. He passed our job over to Strong Movers without notifying me. The pick up time changed without either company notifying me which was very frustrating.

David and Hossain were our movers from Strong Movers and they were excellent. They moved quickly and efficiently and were very friendly. If I was reviewing just them, I would give a 5 star review.

I was not impressed with the additional travel fees charged as I was not informed about this. When I originally spoke with Brenden at River City he did not mention a travel fee - so perhaps a difference between companies. Again, poor communication from River City to play here.

Next time, I’ll book directly with Strong Movers.

I had an uplift last week and I am beyond grateful for the removal service offered by the three people who attended my property. They were considerably empathetic to my situation and moved all of my furniture with care and caution. It was the easiest, quickest removal I have ever experienced and they took every precaution to ensure my belongings were not damaged. Halfway through the move I realised I had left a bag of plants that got packed up into the truck. Without hesitation, they offered to return my plants after they unloaded my furniture into storage and did return it to me later that afternoon. I have never experienced such wonderful service and I would recommend these movers to anyone.

Extremely disappointed with the service. The movers were in a hurry to get to another job so were rushing/running with our belongings. Dropping several items whilst unloading at destination. Also damaging a mattress in their rush. (Which we didn’t see until they had left due to them rushing through the process) I asked them to slow down and take more care with the belongings but they dismissed my request. We paid a 3 hour minimum charge and they were gone after 2 hours so had the time but still chose to rush. We emailed with feedback but did not even get a response. Would not recommend this company. They do not value or respect their customers.

The worst movers in south east coast. If you care your furniture and money, never ever trust them. They quoted me $200 less than the other movers for picking my furniture up and delivering after four days. Coming over with 4 hours delay, they were in rush and damaged my fridge. After two days they emailed me another invoice in double price and forced me to sign the agreement to drop my furniture. I paid their invoice to just getting my furniture but when they delivered my stuff, found mostly damaged. We have complained to authorities, and certainly get our money back plus compensation but really disappointed.

Hossain and Roonaldo have a fun time! Our move was a breeze. Definitely use again. Thanks Team!

The lads were incredibly reliable and hardworking and super efficient, job was executed perfectly, definitely would recommend.

Unfortunately due to my experience I don't recommend this company.
Poor communication. Items were damaged before we even left our house due to over loading and not securing their load. Glass was dropped. Table legs forcefully ripped off with the base plates attached. Was reassured on the day several times that items would be replaced. Drivers called their boss after each thing was broken. Admitted that things were dropped and that they should get rid of the guy that done it as he was hopeless and keeps doing it.
Contacted once by the office, a week after the move and several attempts to contact them, only for them to say its their t and Cs not to replace items not boxed by them and due to business choices that they chose to do, send an extra driver and not charge us fuel, have put them at a loss. What about the $100's that we are out of, both for the move and the loss of damages. Not to mention that they turned up with furniture already on their truck, which was on our second load, which meant they couldn't fit all our bigger items in, so we are at another money loss after having to pay for these to be moved by other means days after our move.
Not happy and we will be taking this further.
