Story House Early Learning Deception Bay

I would NOT recommend this childcare centre to anyone. I’ve had to pull my son out suddenly due to the neglect he was given. Absolutely disgusting.

Today 13: 10 the service are not good during cleaning time the children are inside the room and I can smell strong chemical that they using it makes me my eyes tears and make me cough and I believe the children are sleep because of what they using and unsafe for their children lungs

Absolutely lovely staff & lovely environment. Both my girls love coming & never want to miss a day. The staff are communicative & supportive of behaviours & dietary requirements & will do everything they can to support the parents & children

Our little one was welcomed into the centre from the moment we started. He now feels so relaxed at SHEL that we feel at ease when he drop him off for the day.

I have 2 beautiful nieces who absolutely have adored this daycare center. The learning is second to none and the service is beyond anything you'd ever expect. Thank you for taking care of our babies

My daughter has been here for over a year now and absolutely loves it. She has had some major home changes over the last year and the staff have been nothing short of exceptional. Maz loves going and management and staff are always very helpful and supportive. I am both sad and thrilled to say this is her last year in daycare and she loves her senior kindergarten shirt. Keep up the exceptional work and thank yous from my family ‍‍‍

The family at Storyhouse Deception Bay are amazing, thank you for the support and care you give my little man. He absolutely loves going. As a parent I can feel and see the love given to my son every time we walk into to the centre.

I loved the environment since the first day I walked in. I felt really welcomed by smiley and warm educators always willing to help. All children looked super happy in their beautiful classrooms and in the outside playground where there are always great opportunities for learning and playing!

My girls have been going to Storyhouse Deception Bay for a year now and they love it! The staff are all so friendly and caring, it really is like one big family. The yard is very nature based and there is a huge sandpit in the yard which is always a hit with the kids. A smaller more caring centre. Highly recommend!

The centre is like a little family and everyone is just so welcoming and my son just loves all the teachers and he is so comfortable with everyone and a bonus he loves the food haha.

My children love attending Story House Deception Bay. They are always so happy to arrive everyday and I know they are so well cared for by the amazing educators that provide quality education and care. I couldn’t recommend this centre enough.

My Grandbabies love going to story house, the staff are great and the care attention the kids are given Is exemplary. Learning through play is a great way for little ones to develop and learn, and this centre delivers that education in great friendly environment. Our grandbabies have come so far with social skills and their communication since attending this centre. The caring nurturing environment is second to none. The staff are are always happy to have a chat to you and every day they let you know how your child’s day went. The story house children and families are treated like one big family. I can’t thank these guys enough.

We made the move to Storey House this year and amongst all of the challenges facing the world at the moment the team were always there ready to support my family and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have been made to feel very welcome and cared for and our children are already building relationships and learning exciting things everyday. They come home with so much excitement. It’s a very well looked after centre, clean with lovely toys, resources and areas for all ages and you can see the effort made by the team to create a truly wonderful environment.

I'm so happy I found story house for my son, he loves going and hates having to leave when I pick him up, the staff are amazing. They are so friendly and the communication has been amazing.

I love this centre! My children have been coming here for years. Their services are fantastic and their staff are very friendly and helpful. My daughters educator Miss Jess creates the most amazing learning spaces and experiences. She has always values the input I give towards my daughters education and care. I would highly recommend them to any family.

I've never worked for a company that up holds their values as strongly as this one. Family really is first and everyone respects one another and is inclusive of one another no matter where your from or your background story. Quality doesn't just come with the resources and the amazing natural playspaces but in the educators also. I'm very proud to be part of a team such as mine at Deceptionbay and to be apart of a place that really care about children families education fun and people in the community. I love the centre, I'm very happy with how the educators run the room and plan the activities to help my child's development, and they provide good care of my child on both mentally and physically.
