We went here in a Thursday night. One of us had a Sang Choy Bow and the other had a rib fillet. The food was spot on $46 for the steak and $16 for the SCB. The best part was a nice table on the deck and happy friendly staff. It’s a good place. On second thought maybe you should stay away so it isn’t too crowded when we go back!

The experience will vary on when you come here. In the morning and day it's quite nice and the staff are polite though not too friendly. It always seems as if they don't want to be there tbh. The food is good and the coffee is delicious. At night however it's a little different. Lots of drunk guys and I don't like taking my wife there as the people they attract are aggressive and not very respectful.

Had the 500gram T-bone and it was perfectly cooked and the mushroom sauce was delicious too. Drinks on the other hand were pretty expensive and overpriced menu items as well but overall great. Just saying bring lots of cash lol.
But a good night.

Would highly recommend stopping in

Overall Fantastic service, though not without issue.

Despite providing a legitimate QLD drivers license (in date and in good condition), I was refused entry by the head of security. I was very clearly sober at the time and was by had no other grounds to be refused service. I initially left upon the man’s request, as he recommended that I brought my birth certificate with me next time. Though it didn’t make much sense and it felt wrong, I left anyway.

However, my mates who had been given service and entry stood up for me and through the help of the other security guard (Walter) and another member of staff (a lady with pink hair, unfortunately didn’t get her name) I was provided entry as my drivers license was very clearly legitimate and I was not intoxicated or causing any other problems to other patrons.

The beer was lovely, as were MOST of the staff member, especially Walter.

Would highly recommend for a Friday night catch up with friends.

This is my local, the food is usually very good. Can be super noisey, but week days/nights are more subdued.

Had a great quality crab lunch and JT as the guest speaker. Crab so fresh and plenty to drink all. Included

Loved it, absolutely beautiful views, did a twilight walk so the light was fading down, saw a lot of the city lights and were lucky to have a beautiful clear view. Took my Dad and son, both had a fantastic time, we went slower for dad.and me.our guide was great the whole time, making sure he was ok. Highly recommended

What a great place to go when you're staying around the area. It's very warm and welcoming and seriously has the nicest staff. The food is some of the best bang for your buck, even compared to out of City restaurants/pubs. Couldn't recommend any higher

Was super nice food and a good price. The company made the night doe.

Went back in April 22. Still lovely place, great food and not bad service. Took a while to get our orders taken but that doesn't really bother me at all.

Visited here for dinner on a Thursday after an enforced stay in Brisbane because of a flight cancellation. It was very busy and noisy but staff found us a table quickly and we enjoyed an excellent meal. Kudos all round to the efficient and friendly staff.

Great location. Went for lunch. If you're lucky you can get a street park right in front of SB hotel although it's meter paid parking cos you're more or less in the city. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice menu. I ordered the Guiness Beef Pie and it was not good- for $20 or so incl chips n slaw. Maybe I'm bias cos I'm a Kiwi and if you don't know it yet, we make the best NZ pies in the world! Pastry was too soft, so thick and floury although I will go back 'cos the staff are very friendly and attentive and has good vibes so i def recommend. My daughter had chicken schnitzel which was very thin and dry or overcooked. Steak meals from around $40.

We really enjoyed our visit here. My wife reckons it's the best parmi in Brisbane, I had the Guinness pie which was also great. Staff were really helpful. Great job all round, we'll be back.

Entrees were a nice start. The squid & scallops weren't chewy, pork belly, duck pate, oyster Kilpatrick were also good - wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger though.

For mains, most of us got the Wagyu rump with mushroom sauce & the dish was accompanied with a good amount of sides - the chips & salad was probably the best combo. Chips was nicely seasoned. I feel like the Wagyu rump tasted better & was better value for money than their Wagyu flat iron - when you compare the two, the flat iron portion looked insufficient.

Most of the desserts were all good choices. Pana Cotta being the best, followed by passionfruit curd tart & then chocolate brownie. The icecream from the tart dish was probably best by a bit but at least none of icecream tasted artificial.

Affogato wasn't too impressive, the amount of icecream you receive (1 scoop) was about a third of the kid's icecream dessert (3 scoops).

We had the dinner after the borders opened for almost a week. Very crowded inside & we were a little anxious that no staff wore masks. Finding parking was also a nightmare.

Not a great pub for non-smokers. Their smoking areas are spread out just enough to waft into all if not, most areas. Not a good thing when you’re eating or drinking.
