Store DJ Brisbane

Went in today to get some new headphones. The guys were super helpful and have a great setup for trying all of the models they have available.
This isn't an isolated experience. I'm a reasonably regular visitor and have had the same kind of service every time I've been in.

I'm not sure what's with the current trend of stocking and selling faulty products and then not looking after the customer after they've been victim of this trend, but Store DJ like many electronics stores these days are guilty of it. The only things I'd buy from them are things you know are good, if you don't know then stay clear and so should they.

I visited the store needing a stylus. Had no idea how to dismantle and connect the new one. Vivien spent at least 30 mins and was super friendly and so helpful. This store is amazing.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff who look like they love their jobs. Huge range of instruments and tech. Performance booths, parking in rear and a great place to meet other artists.

Had to return a faulty product but the staff were super helpful, had a replacement before I left

Been a regular customer here for a while and they’ve always met my electronic/music needs. Had an especially great customer experience today with Frank, who was very patient in assisting me with finding a variety of cables for an upcoming gig. Highly recommend.

I had some radio interference with my pre-amp setup. I brought the kit in. Bryce was able to reproduce the problem and provide the solution. Top job.

Edit: This is still the case, you can ask them anything and they will go above and beyond to ensure you get the best product for you.

I went in today looking for headphones for my GoXLR and they instantly gave me the best recommendations based on the capabilities of my unit.

I was able to try all the sets I liked, got through about a dozen and still went with their recommendation.

They know their stuff.

I've bought a couple of things from here and have always been happy with the quality, price and service.
I had a particularly good experience today. I came in to purchase something but it turned out they didn't have it, but the salesman took the time to talk me through an issue I was having and possible solutions to resolve it. Great customer service.
The shop is great, the range amazing and there's on site parking. Too easy.

Initially had an issue with payment via PayPal but that was an issue on PayPal's side. Customer support was brilliant and I'm really happy with my purchase (Presonus Eris E5 XT). Will definitely buy from Store DJ again:)

This place is a heaven for all electronic music enthusiasts and performers. They have all the big brands Newmark Pioneer Technics Serato Ableton and customer service is of the highest order so go and rock out with your out and get to store DJ located upstairs in the Manny's music building

Great friendly helpful relaxed staff lots of bargains in a small amount of space need to expand to bigger premises and watch business boom car parking not very big area and large vehicles have difficulties finding off road parking due to clear ways both sides of building again staff great friendly and helpful

Staff are quite average to deal with. Hard to get help. When you finally do and ask for an opinion, they say have you read online or watched any YouTube’s? You’re better off just ordering online

Seriously guys, sort yourselves out. Badly signed and difficult to find your way upstairs to the shop. After waiting about 20 minutes for service I went to leave, but stayed after running into the second staff member going downstairs on the way out. I had money to buy a new Pioneer controller, but had run out of time while waiting. The staff member couldn't find a new controller in stock, so said he'd ring me after I'd left. Rang back after about 3 hours, spoke to a guy on the phone when I hadn't been contacted, who had no idea what I was talking about & took my details again, promising a call back. Contacted another supplier, who quoted me cheaper than the Store Dj "sale price" anyway. Worst service ever, and I've been djing since 1994: (
