Steve Lockhart

This is a belated review from a few years ago, at the time I was suffering terrible back pain and had been to many therapists and chiropractors. When I hurt my back again and was in bed unable to move a great deal, I knew I had to do something different. I remembered a friend telling me about Steve, when I called he was about to go away for the weekend and said if I could come straight over he could fit me in, I have not had pain like this since and after some close together treatments, I then went for maintenance treatments only - the pain his not returned. Steve was both my therapist and teacher for some years before I moved away. I was fortunate to learn a lot from Steve over the years and are very grateful.

First time I was recommended to Steve I had a really sore lower back, something I have suffered from for a while now. This particular time I could barely walk and was due to fly down to Melb on the Friday. I saw Steve on the Wed, the Thurs was tender as he said to expect then on the Friday we got to airport for our trip and OMG the pain was completely gone and I was walking fine - I could not believe it. Magic hands because whatever he did just worked a treat. Highly recommend and I actually need to book in to see him again myself soon. Thanks Steve

I had quite a few massage sessions with Steve at a time when my back and posture was out of alignment. The massages greatly reduced the painfulness and helped straighten out my muscles which in turn helped my alignment. I am very greatful to now be pain free and X-rays are showing my spine is perfectly aligned. Thank you to Steve for assisting in this journey

I had severe sciatic pain for a few weeks, went to a couple of different people for help however it wasn't until I saw Steve that I finally had some relief. After only my second visit I had improvement and I now see Steve regularly as a maintenance programme. I highly recommend Steve to anyone suffering sciatic pain.

I visited Steve after experiencing chronic sciatica and lower back pain for roughly 4 years. I had had treatment at physios, massage and chiro treatment (my back pain would always return a few days after these treatments). Steve was the first practitioner to confirm that due to the amount of running I do, my leg muscles had tightened to the point that they were pulling my hips out of alignment. This is what was causing the lower back pain. After one session with Steve, my lower back pain disappeared for roughly 3 months which I didn’t think was possible. I I highly recommend Steve - he also has a website and online exercises to help proactively manage chronic pain.

I was referred to Steve by a friend some time ago for back pain. After the first session, I had immediate improvement and able to move more freely. Steve does not only work on the symptom, but, gets to the root of the problem for longer term results. Steve is my go to person for all muscle/injury matters as his massage technique and pressure methods never fails to disappoint. Steve is very knowledgeable, down to earth and a true professional. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who is experiencing discomfort or suffering.

Steve helped relieve the pain of a very debilitating bout of sciatica within five treatments. He is extremely knowledgeable about how the body works as a whole and was very upfront with me about what I needed to do to stay pain free in the future. Highly recommended.

I would give Steve ten stars if it was available. I went to visit him after my wife highly recommended him. I could not believe the improvement in my bad back after only five visits. I have had chronic back pain for 13 years that has been debilitating and really affected my quality of life. I had been seeing a popular chiropractor here on the Gold Coast for over three years who promised me the world yet I was in worse pain then when I started.
