Love to come here play badminton with my friends all the time, we always have so much fun! Owners are very friendly and always willing to help me out if I needed anything, highly recommended to everyone who loves playing badminton!

Very unsatisfied! Very unhappy and very dishonest place, such a disappointment the service in this club is the worst,
As per a regular customer first time ever experienced such a bad customer service ever.
To book and not be able to cancel nor to re-schedule is not right.
We don't want our money back we just want to re-schedule it, but nope too inconvenient for them.
And won't even discus it or talk to us they just simply hang up and forfeited our payment, we're I find it so disgusting on how people can do that for just $35 I will be telling all my friends that goes to this club to change clubs as this people who run this club is so greedy and dishonest.

The best badminton court in Gold Coast. Professional court (floor has frame underneath) with reasonable price. Friendly staff with good services. The best place ever.

Worst experience ever! Owners were so rude that they asked us to leave the court before one hour despite charging in full. Not recommended at all.

Awesome courts, great owners. There appears to be a lot of malicious comments on here by the same people.

If you have not visited this centre, make yourself a chance to visit here, especially when you want to play sport but hard to find friends to play, here's the option for you, participate in the social games which happened every night between 5pm and 10 pm. You can find different levels players to play with! You pay the sweat and gain a stronger body and friendships.
I am addicted to this sport now, I guess it's a good thing though.

Very hot inside and social was expensive with poor quality shuttles.

EDIT: I found the venue extremely hot and in comparison to other venues that I have played at the heat was stifling. I have lived in this climate for many years and it was possibly the hottest conditions I have played in. That is my opinion based on my experience of the session.

EDIT: I usually pay between $7 and $13 for social so the session at Star Badminton was expensive by way of comparison.

EDIT: in my experience social is normally played with Yonex, Victor or Aeroplane shuttles. I found that the shuttles supplied by Star Badminton (I did not recognise the brand) were very fast and not the quality that I am used to.

Just tell the truth. My account got block. They did it without any notice and refund which means I need to suffer it. I am not interested to argue and play in this club anymore. Even it is the actual badminton court on the coast. There are more choices can play and have fun.

This is a great venue, the floors are amazing, and great friendly staff. Highly recommend these courts. Thx

Please consider putting louves at high at both ends of your building, itxshoukd perhaps take away the hot air but not effect the shuttle flight down low?

Love this place so much, we come 3 times a week with our group! So much fun and the atmosphere is awesome! The owners are so sweet always welcome you with a smile. Would highly recommend!

The owners took friend’s fee of $300 yet denied service. Then refused to give the money back because of a bad review, didn’t even get to use the court. Having your friends mass posting good reviews isn’t going to cover up what you did. This is straight up a scam. Will file a police report soon.

We are so very lucky to have such amazing people in Tony and Clair to have made this purpose built badminton centre in the heart of the Gold Coast for us all to enjoy! They are always kind, courteous, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic to everyone no matter what.

I find it extremely disappointing that a few kids think it’s funny to engage in a smear campaign against this outstanding pair over a few minutes of play because of cleaning the court!

It’s utterly ridiculous and unjustified to get a group of people to write scathing reviews with one star when there was not even a chat or complaint.and as soon as there was word to star of an unhappy client free time was offered to solve the unhappiness. It was rejected.

Anyway, anyone that knows Tony and Clair will know how awesome they truly are! We are super lucky to have a great badminton community on the Gold Coast. Plenty of friendly players of all levels and now we have a great venue to enjoy this sport together in. Thanks so much to Tony Clair and the kids for devoting there lives at this time to make it happen for us!

Courts are good, just little close. Good lighting, a bit pricey, but the whole family works there, hard working people, stay there till 11 pm each night. Guess its ok if they charge bit to cover cost and family time.

What a wonder place to play badminton! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of social activities. Great for kids to join the school holidays program. Both my daughter and myself enjoy here very much.

Invited to come here. The boss is very kind to me, but my friend is Chinese. The boss has a different attitude towards him. Idk what is the reason for this. Is it nationality? Or language? Anyway, in an international country like Australia, the service industry should have the most basic respect for all customers. Please improve!

I highly recommend Star Badminton to all my friends. Tony and Claire are always so kind and accomodating, they make the place feel like a second home. We come here once a week MINIMUM! They have created an excellent facility right in the heart of the Gold Coast, awesome! From a group of two to a dozen, we love it here. Make sure to book your courts in advance because this place can get packed during weeknights — as this is THE badminton place to be on the coast! Thank you, Star badminton!
