Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre reviews
29Great service, very knowledgeable about the area & willing to answer questions & give ideas. Much appreciated.
Beautiful place tonait down with the kids have a picnic and be able to see the wildlife swim around and be them selfs. Town looked clean and people looked well manned and respectful towards outsiders. Definitely would use this place for a wedding reception or just a day out with the family. Such a beautiful spot
Very informative and volunteer, Glen, was super informative & drew highlighter on our map places to visit.
The Fudge & chilli stop at Baupaum was deliscious
I stopped in just a few minutes before closing, hoping to grab a few brochures quickly. The staff here were so helpful, informative, and friendly. I really appreciated it!
Wanted details of the on-road (quiet roads) bike ride Stanthorpe to Ballandean.
I was given the maps and details quickly and clearly, ALSO details of the historic train trips available.
A really ''switched on' Info Centre.
A beautiful and peaceful place to sit and read my book with a coffee. Always a friendly wave and hello. My favourite spot.
Very friendly and welcoming. Certainly know their stuff. Gave us the information we were after without to much selling of sites or places we weren't interested in. Keep up the fantastic service. Well done.
Very helpful and informative!
Especially Brian gave us his time and explained things very well.
One feedback: The famous corktree leaves have blotches + seem to be diseased. PLEASE look after them!
I will come again!

Top bloke gave us some awesome advice. We are tavelling around Australia and he was the first guy at an information place to give us some really good advice. Thank you!
What a fantastic asset Glenn is to the Stanthorpe Info Centre. He is a wealth of information and has a great personality to go with it. Loved our visit.
One of the best tourist information centres we have ever been to! Glenn was friendly and knowledgeable on Stanthorpe and the surrounding region and gave us some great locations to check out. Other centres simply gave us a map or brochure. Glenn is a great asset to the centre and we would highly recommend popping in.
If you're visiting the Granite Belt region, a stop in at the Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre is a definite must. Staff are very helpful and well informed - we learnt so much about the region from the local staff member who helped us and his recommendations (for sight seeing and wineries etc) were spot on.
The Visitor Information Centre had also drawn up a list of which wineries, attractions and dining options were open/closed over the christmas break - this was incredibly helpful when planning our few days in the region. Many thanks also for the local tips re Donnelly's Castle (bushranger hideout) - a great history lesson)
The gentleman there was very welcoming. Picnic spot outside was great so many places to explore.
The guy at desk is a wealth of information. Best knowledge of area and information of any tourist info centre I have ever been into.
If you're looking for friendly, local knowledge and advice on what to see and do around Stanthorpe and the surroundingarea, you'd be hard pressed to find nicer, more helpful service anywhere.
And.if you're travelling with your fur baby, don't worry, they're very welcome and may be treated like royalty too.
The volunteer was a huge help in giving us idea of things to do in Stanthorpe. With maps and brochures it helped make our visit as good as it was. Located right next to the park with the giant thermometer.
Very helpful, always willing to listen and provide local information! We are so glad we chose Stanthorpe to host our event! Stanthorpe has everything an event needs.encouraging community, networking and engaging!
You couldn't find more helpful people! We spent a delightful 30mins talking about Stanthorpe and environs. We've since continued to use the knowledge we were given.
Great little info centre situated in a park above a beautiful creek. Suggest you start your visit to Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt here. They have all the maps and info you will need.
Always friendly and helpful volunteers. Real passion for the area. Lots of information about the area available
