Stanthorpe Mitre 10

There's no Bunnings in Stanthorpe, so this small but busy Mitre 10 does a roaring trade. They stock most things, with the rare exception. Prices are higher than Bunnings but quality is better. Staff are busy but very helpful and will always offer to carry heavier items to my car, or put smaller items in a box. I like that they use their empty boxes rather than throw them all out or use bags. I'd rather wear the higher prices to get better quality and service and of course save myself two hours and 120K worth of fuel, so I shop here often and have done for 18 years.

So much better since Bill Kerr took over with better stock, though a couple of staff members have no idea what they are talking about. They had no idea I am a builder. However, you'll need to watch some of the prices Bill, because it's only 40 minutes away to Bunnings. I prefer to shop local, and will continue to support this store.

Extremely helpful when we figured out we didn’t have the correct gas bottle for the camping stove. Came in just as they were closing and was helped by a lovely human who even filled the gas bottle up, even though the store, and gas refilling station had been locked up. Very much appreciated. Thank you!

Staff are so helpful in every way. Nothing's too much trouble. Nursery staff knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain and help you find that right plant. Great to see a younger generation included in staff.

Definitely not a Bunnings as we are used to coming from Brisbane, but boy the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable! Prices are a bit on the high-side but that to be expected in a small town! Love your work guys:)

After spending a lot of money at mitre 10 I found a. Item witch was to dear put it back on the shelf was told I wouldn't get it any cheaper go buy chinese made that wasn't the point the bloody item was to dear this came from the lady owner if I would have known better I wouldn't have bought the bloody ride on mower

Hardware shopping made easy, lovely people, top service, a gardeners delight, not sure what you want or need for the right choice just ask, yes country hospitality upon entry hence the five stars!

Mitre 10 Stanthorpe is a great hardware store, from the outside it may not look like much but when you go in you'll soon realise you have a large range to get all of your hardware requirements in the one spot. The customer service is second to none, the team there will always go out of their way to assist you with questions or help you find the item you are after. The pricing is competitive to the major hardware stores and the quality is significantly better than the larger hardware chains too.
All in all a fantastic hardware store to visit, and everyone in town should support this great business.
