Stafford Heights Kindergarten

A wonderful community kindy. Our daughter has absolutely loved her year at Stafford Heights kindergarten. She has thrived in the warm and caring environment and gained the confidence and independence necessary for prep next year. The experienced and caring teachers provided an engaging and fun play-based learning environment. We also had our daughter in the after hours program which she thoroughly enjoyed, it was like an afternoon play date! At this kindy you’re not just another family, you become part of the community. I can’t recommend Stafford Heights Kindergarten highly enough, we’re so happy we made the decision to send our daughter here.

We are so happy we discovered Stafford Heights Kindy (SHK) when we moved to the area last year. It is the area's best kept secret for kindy-aged children in our opinion. SHK has been a wonderful experience for our daughter, who has thrived in all areas. She asks to go everyday. The teachers are high quality educators and the campus is a mixture of fantastic indoor and outdoor (covered large verandah/patio plus a large grassy yard in the shade of several large trees. Its a great size too - only 20 students at the kindy at a time. We also took advantage of the after hours care, which made it comparable to a long day care centre but a with a more intimate and kindy-age focus. Would 100% recommend SHK for kindy aged students.

Stafford Heights Kindergarten is amazing. The choice to send our two sons to this community kindergarten has been the best decision we have made. The personal growth and confidence they have developed throughout their kindy years is phenomenial and a true credit to the amazing teachers at this kindergarten who truly go above and beyond to really get to know your child individually.

We feel choosing the community kindergarten versus the long day care kindergarten has given my eldest son a good insight to the structure of prep. The same starting time each morning where all the kids come together to start their day together and the daily structure through routines and transitions has helped him thrive and feel confident in himself which has given him the ability to step out of his comfort zones for different things as he feels safe in knowing his environment and his peers.

Bush kindy is definitely a favourite as is his Pilates class (apparently the flamingo pose has been mastered)

The new after hours care program till 6pm is an excellent addition and means there is the option for flexibility in pick up times when life happens.

Emma, Elke, Alice and Tanya are wonderful people and do a great job looking after the kids.
Better for children than the day care type places as more time and resources are spent on the actual children.

What an amazing Kindy we couldn’t be happier with our choice! The prefect prep for prep! Our son has thrived at this Kindy. The team at SHK are experts in their field and it has been so nice to watch not just our son but all the kids learn and grow throughout the year.
Being a community Kindy you get the opportunity to be involved and it has also been a nice way to meet other families.
The after hours service also provides that added convenience for working parents when the “traditional” Kindy hours don’t work

Stafford Heights Kindergarten is truly a wonderful place. The teachers are all amazing, kind and nurturing. Personalised play-based learning allows the children to explore and create games of interest and it's lovely to see my daughter happy, thriving and making great friendships in such a wonderful environment. So glad a old work colleague told me about the kindy - it's a hidden gem and from the moment I walked through the gate I just knew it was the kindy for our family. Do yourself a favour, enrol your child now at Stafford Heights Kindergarten. It's the kindy that ticks all the boxes in my book - and it's no wonder they scored a rating "Exceeding National Quality Standard".

The unique range of experiences at Stafford Heights Kindergarten are sure to remain with my sons for the rest of their lives as truly happy childhood memories. The teachers take the time to learn what interests and motivates each individual child, and use this knowledge to encourage their play-based learning. My boys love bringing home new art creations, food they’ve baked or natural ‘treasures’ they’ve discovered in the garden to share with us. And we love hearing stories about the intricate games they invent with their friends. There is a real warmth to the Stafford Heights Kindergarten community, and the social aspect isn’t just for the kids. We’ve formed wonderful friendships with other families which have continued beyond kindy.
