Ill tolerate a 5 minute exchange, but 15+ minutes to get a letter sent is unacceptable

Convenient hours and good range, I have always found the staff and owners to be patient, carrying and friendly. St Lucia News is a valuable asset to the St Lucia community. So handy having the combination of post office and news agent in a single store, especially as they are open on weekends.

Shocking customer service. Phoned to ask a simple question in regards to picking up a package and the man on the phone told me he wouldn’t look into it until I was there in person.
I told him I was very time poor and didn’t want to make a trip in if the parcel wasn’t still there and he said ‘I’m not looking for it until you’re here in person’ and hung up.
All I needed was a yes or no as to whether or not it was still there.
I understand things get busy but he was blatantly rude to me and didn’t at any point suggest he’d look into it later when he had time, just blew me off completely.

Good choice of papers and magazines, together with excellent service make St Lucia News a joy to visit.

The old person serving there can be very slow. Avoid having your package sent there. Otherwise a great place to get some newspaper.

Handed a letter addressed to a Brisbane CBD address to an employee of this St Lucia agency for posting on Thursday 18 January. Should have been delivered to the CBD no later than Monday 22nd January. Still hasn't been received as of Wednesday 24th. The CBD is a 10/15 minute drive from St Lucia. Called this branch today to enquire but staff member was rude and unhelpful. I do not know when - or if - this agency actually put this in the post. Australia Post and this agency both need to get their act together.

Always wonderful service and experience here. I buy my weekly paper here and have never had a bad experience. They also provide an excellent book pack service.

The manager of the store went out of his way to be very unhelpful today. My ebay package said that my parcel was awaiting collection at this store specifically. I come to the part of the store that looks like where you should go to collect parcels. Little did I know that there are two different pick up points in the news agency, one for auspost and the other for all the other courier companies. The owner of the store said that my parcel was not there. He asked me what courier service delivered my parcel, and I did not know 100%, but I thought it could be Fast Way Couriers, and I knew it was here (I did not have access to internet so I could not confirm what courier service made the delivery) Instead of just checking if he had my parcel at the front desk from fast way couriers, he told me to go home and confirm, then come back. I told him it was a long way to go and asked him to check if it was with Fast Way Courier, but he just told me I was waisting his time. Well I went back home and it turns out it was with Fast Way Couriers. I come back to this news agency and the parcel is just sitting behind the desk. I know you could have just checked for my parcel by checking for my address, very disappointed in the level of service shown here today.
