St Lucia Golf Links reviews
62A money driven golf club. $38 for a 6 pack of beer. That equates to $152 a carton which is a ludicrous profit margin. $10 for a pie that’s ridiculous. The bunkers were in a terrible state and so were the tees. Profit margins from a 6 pack of beer should fix this right?
Beautiful place for a sneaky afternoon drink, with a gorgeous view. A bigger plus for all the avid Golfers
Longest round ive ever played in my life…. (5hrs - and we teed off in the first hour of business).
Fun course, but slow AF with tee times 7mins apart. Be an amazing morning if you were first cab off the rank.x
Great course, well maintained.
It's definitely worth a visit.
19th hole facilities are fabulous
The best customer service and most delightful team! I had never been to a golf course before and was so anxious before walking in. Greeted by some lovely staff members, I would recommend St Lucia Golf Links to anyone and everyone! 100% will be back
They over book the course. Makes it unplayable with 15-20min wait times on every tee. Never going back. Just booked and paid for 18 holes. Ended up playing the first 9 in 3 hours. Left after 9 holes due to the pace of play.
Beautiful venue! Putt putt is great for adults and kids. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Not a golfer myself but the golf links look great, and certainly seems to be popular with golfers.
Do not play here on the weekend. Course is in decent condition, but $50 to walk 18 holes and you’d be lucky to finish in under 6 hours. Space out the tee times more and stop being greedy
We played the most weeks. The staff are very friendly, the facilities cafe, etc excellent. And the golf is most enjoyable and frustrating at the same time well maintained course particularly for a public course.

Food was 10/10, staff were so amazing and attentive, we played putt putt after, the course was great! Lots of fun and perfect length! Will definitely be back
Loved the facilities, the helpful staff, course is shortish but fun. But the greens. OMFG. A disaster. Surface of rhe moon stuff. Please fix them.
This is my first golf course I played in Brisbane. Easy online booking, staff are very welcome, rent a Clickgear push cart which is very helpful for an interstate golfer like me.the course is a hilly lay out. Next time prefer to rent a motorised cart. Fairway are narrow and challenging, green a bit tough to read. Enjoyed playing here met a lot of friendly members. They have a beautiful restaurant, I wish I could have more time to relax and enjoy the coffee.there is also mini golf for kids to learn and enjoy golf. Definitely a complete golf course you can’t go wrong.
The facilities outside of the golf course are brilliant, food is excellent, and it’s a great place for kids. However, for a public course it’s quite expensive, particularly when playing on a weekend and when the groups are starting so close together it becomes a parking lot out on the course. If I was to play again it would only be midweek to get a smoother run.
Suggestion, lower the fees a little and put some time between groups to alleviate the waiting around. 5 stars for the facilities, 1 star for the golfing experience.
Play somewhere else! There are many better options. Just played yesterday - greens are in terrible and neglected considering the weather has been perfect, tee boxes are destroyed and brand new tees from their changing of the layout arent even flat. Oh and they have jacked their green fees up to $46 as well. For what was a great layout is being ruined by current management
Edit: After our real bad experience, Brad the operations manager called us up to apologise and to get us back in to chat and to right some wrongs. Very happy with the quality of service which has definitely lifted the quality of the original experience. This service definitely makes me more inclined to come back.
After an unfortunate incident with a specific Marshall out party initially felt soured by our time here.
However after receiving a call from Brad the Golf Operations Manager he more than made up for the endeavour by listening to our experience and making us feel heard and respected where we didn't previously.
Brad took every opportunity to make us feel welcomed and turned our experience completely around, make us laugh and even grabbed out entire party some drinks.
If you're fortunate enough to encounter him an the club you're guaranteed quality customer service.
I haven’t golfed for a very long time so I can’t really comment on the topic of golf courses. I know one thing for sure and that’s I know how fun and soothing it can be. This gold course is lush and scenic like most golf courses. I’m not sure if the fairways were damaged by the floods but it looks well maintained.
The beautiful food is let down by the service and atmosphere. We were there in the evening and the whole place was cold. Where are your heaters? One fireplace just doesn’t cut it. We are in winter so they need to create a warmer atmosphere for people to enjoy at night. Certain staff have a dump and run approach to service where they will dump the food on the table and take off without taking any empty plates or glasses with them, unless you tell them. Finally, a simple “Thanks for dining with us” approach can go a long way in creating good vibes for the business rather than being ignored.
This place is beautiful and the grounds are so lush and the 100 has great atmosphere and a delicious menu. Will definitely return
The marshal was a complete tool. He was being rude right from the start and was telling at us for being too slow. Two of us were forced to completely separate from the group, as we weren't even able to talk to the rest of our group, despite not playing and respecting the 4 player limit. I detected a hint of sexism from the Marshall, he pointed at our two female and called them inexperienced, without knowing their previous experience. The Marshall completely ruined our experience and I recommend finding a different course, if you plan on having fun.
