St Bernards Hotel reviews
87On a family recommendation we stopped in for lunch while visiting the mountain park. The food was delicious, from an extensive menu. The staff cheerful and helpful. We did meet the two St Bernards who are delightful and engaging with the visitors. Pride of place has to be the outside eating area that looked out across the parkland from a marvellous vantage point. Oh what a view! All in all a great place to stop for a refresh.
Quaint pub within a most beautiful part of the world. Great food and service with the cutest doggies.
View is awesome & that's as far as it goes unfortunately. Spent almost an hour waiting for 2 meals for my partner's birthday, was only 1/5 capacity so didn't understand where the delay was. Very average service. Poor St Bernard dogs at the front of the hotel look so sad and hot in the heat of the summer. Was cool to have peacock come to visit but he was scrounging around for food so be careful when eating very basic meals, very limited vego/vegan options.
Always a great day out on Tambourine Mtn, especially at St Bernard's Hotel. Have been a fan of this place for years, good food, and atmosphere all year round, highly recommended
Love the staff and food. Also, the pups are so sweet! I wish I could pat them tho!
Oh beer was exceptional too!
Thank you
We called up to check availability was told kitchen shuts at 2 will be fine if arrive at 130. We arrived at 130 only to be told there not doing food because kitchen is shut. Ruined our whole afternoon will never go back
Went for lunch on a public holiday, even though our numbers were booked had to wait nearly an hour and half for what was pretty average, generic pub style food that could be cranked out pretty quick. If you are going to charge a public holiday surcharge, at least staff adequately.
Gorgeous place, beautiful views, great service and lovely Saint Bernard's and yum food will be back?
Loved the spectacular, breath taking views from St Bernards! Delicious food, awesome weather, great service made for a great lunch;the resident peacock wandering casually and the beautiful Saint Bernard dogs added to an unforgettable experience. I could easily spend a few hours here, but it was only a quick stop for lunch. Highly recommended!
An iconic dining and accommodation establishment on Mt Tambourine. Amazing views. Order and pay at the counter. Bookings advised. Accessibility very good. Wheelchair access ramps inside and out. A male guest informed me that disabled access to the men's room wasn't great. They may have a dedicated disabled toilet, though I'm not sure.
Great food and service. The only reason it only got 4 stars is that the male toilets were outside and the ground was uneven ground which is a problem as I have mobility issues
Prices very reasonable for the generous serving size, drinks also priced well. Prime realestate with amazing views and food made in a timely manner even when busy.
Great character downstairs and outdoor seating looked amazing unfortunately too cold and rainy to sit outside and upstairs decor was not quite so amazing. Food was good and chicken parmie very generous. Suggest you get salad dressing on the side unless you like drowned salad.
Gorgeous location, friendly staff, great food! Say hello to the dogs on the way in and keep an eye out for the peacock! Stunning views to the coast. A few degrees cooler on the mountain which is so nice, pretty much all year round. A regular day trip for us from Brisbane.
Staff were a little rude however, what a location! Beautiful view with an amazing lodge to stay in
Beautiful old-style pub, with St Bernard dog, and an amazing view. Food was good and great staff. Loads of parking too. Great day out.
Doesn't matter what time of the year you visit this place, it's a lovely spot on the Mountain. It gets busy so I'd recommend booking a table, especially if you want to sit out on the deck admiring the view. The menu is not comprehensive, but all tastes are catered for. The staff are always friendly as well.
The atmosphere at St Bernard's Hotel is relaxing, service staff are friendly and the food is amazing. Large very delicious portion, well presented.
Great spot, great environment. The food quality is very good. My only criticism is the menu is a little limited.
