Springwood General Practice

Thank you to all the staff that were involved with my cut finger today. All staff were excellent and very professional. Would recommend new people to visit this practice

New patient here and I was very pleased with the recent care provided by Dr Sylvia Zinkova for myself and my newborn. The reception staff are friendly and helpful too. I am more than happy to pay fees to attend this practice as opposed to the very average care I have found elsewhere that bulk bill.

Good service but impossible to get in at short notice when you need it. I know there is COVID, but please staff up to meet the demand. There is no point having a regular GP when you can't see them, or someone, when you really need to, especially for the cost.

If you want to go to a normal surgery don't attend here. But if you want a Dr that listens is not looking at the clock, thinks outside the box, is thorough, shows empathy & listens then this is the centre for you. Reception, nurses, Dr John, Dr Kate & Dr Katherine thank you for your never ending support for my family.

Please note they do NOT do Covid testing. But they do do Covid vaccine, AZ, Pfizer and Moderna. Took my whole family here to get 3 jabs, was quick and easy. Didn't even feel the injection

Very helpful, friendly and efficient service by Liz at reception, took my call very early in the morning, sorted out an appointment and called me back. Great customer experience, thank you.

My regular GP, who I really liked, had left the practice so I was booked in with a doctor who had an available time slot. It was Dr Aliya Alladin. She was great; I felt completely at ease with her immediately. Very sharp, friendly and professional.

Dr kastrissios takes patient care to the next level. John makes you feel like you are the most important person in every room and goes above and beyond to treat you with upmost respect and kindness. His holistic approach to health care is unmatched.

I have been a long time patient at this practice - 18+ years. I have always been welcomed at the desk with a smiling face & a friendly word. However, since the management & receptionists have changed it's all gone. Not a friendly smile or word in sight. I did not receive a script & XRay referral when I phoned for one while on holidays over Dec/Jan 2018/19, and after 6 phone calls & promises to post them off, I still did not receive them. I had to make the journey from northern NSW & wait while my doctor printed out a copy.
Management needs to address these issues as this is a good family practice, with wonderful caring doctors.

Used to be a nice welcoming practice but not anymore since new practice manager arrived, can feel the atmosphere when she’s there, whole different vibe. Dr’s still good but wouldn’t be surprised if people start leaving.

I have been going here for years now and now have my kids as regulars too. The reception staff and doctors are friendly and professional and you can usually get an appointment at short notice if you require urgent attention. They bulk bill kids under 5 Monday to Friday which is super helpful - it's always better to feel free to see a gp if you are unsure about your kid's illness rather than putting it off due to cost and potentially ending up in hospital. Yes, they charge a gap fee for adults but I have been to many bulk billing doctors in the area and can confidently say it is worth the cost to have quality and friendly medical treatment. I highly recommend Springwood GP if you are looking for a regular local gp.

Dr Bec Lingard & Dr Allison Pilkington are the most genuine, thorough, complete care doctors you could find. They are like gold to me & my family! They go above & beyond to treat you like a person not a payment. Top care during & after care, never clock watching or billing just cause they can. I'd highly recommend them & they would do well opening their own practice. Love them like they were family totally can trust them. Dr Chris Hanon again amazing old school doctor, with clear, concise management plans. The 3 of them have a bedside manner that is few & far between, they are real people with real experiences. I'd follow them wherever they go. The 5 stars are for the doctors who treat people like people. Nurses are tops too & the one young lady on reception is professional, caring & a real customer service lady. There is one lady on reception who could do with some training in customer service & providing equal friendly service to all patients & use the age old method of servicing the people not the paperwork. I go here cause the doctors are well worth the small gap we are charged & more. The doctors here are rare so treat them well cause they treat each patient like an individual where everything you need is important. Top work doctors!

Probably one of the most friendly general practices I've been to. The place has doubled in physical size since it first opened.

The patient waiting room is the most comfortable I've been to, "cozy" is how I would describe the atmosphere.

Doctors are competent and capable.

There's even a lego wall for the kids!

If you live in the area, I'd recommend making one of the doctor's here your regular GP.

You'd be hard pressed to find better. Ive been going there for a number of years now and honestly dont know where I would be now if it wasn't for Dr Ian and the rest of the team.

I visited this practice for the first time today after losing confidence in another practice. I just want to say how that the staff and doctors here are AMAZING! I felt so relaxed and at ease. They are extremely caring and through. I cannot say one negative word. Highly recommended Springwood General Practice for all of your concerns.:)
