Run mostly young teens with zero care factor or understanding of products. Asked a question to a young staff member. She just looked at us and walked off.terrible service

Looking for a kitchen item but couldn't find it, not surprising because some specialist kitchen stores didn't have it.
Very impressed with the range though.

Well stocked store. Neat tidy and well sign posted. Friendly helpful staff. Paid at the material counter for my purchases. Excellent experience until trying to leave the store. Was lined up in the check out Isle a mile long having already paid. Was very confused so eventually pushed my way through and just left the store. Needs a small staffed side gate or exit mechanism for those who have already paid or did not purchase.

My wife and I love this store. We can always find what we're looking for no matter the occasion.

Arts and crafts, linen, home decorator stuff. Not my sort of thing, always have sales, plan to buy your stuff during sales, 40-50% off is worth having a look at.

The cashier with short hair highlights- miserable. Others are friendly especially the young girls. Lots of stuff are interesting. If the counter service was nicer or more friendly (she didn't say hello or thank you, very unfriendly), it would absolutely make the place much more attractive and interesting.

I have been a member of Spotlight well before it came to Townsville. I still love their store.

The que times are very fast and staff were helpfull, just a bit expensive, parking is good and shop access is easy.

As always in a spotlight store they let you in but it is so hard and takes so long to pay and get out.
I just need to remember and not enter in first place I can buy just as good quality stuff at Kmart

Im a fan of Spotlight because but I always feel like a fish out of water when shopping there. Need something at a hardware store I'm your man. So when I go to Spotlight I always ask one of the staff for help. I was originally just planning on taking a look. But Melissa was so helpful in assisting me with new linen for my B & B I took advantage of the sale and walked out with 3 sets.

Belinda in the party section is THE BEST! She knows all the stock, exactly where it's located & so helpful with ideas, especially for some last-minute organising of Book Week costume items! Thank you, Belinda!

I know as a guy I shouldn't like spotlight but I do. I'm quite creative and spotlight gives me idea's. We went here as we're up in Townsville on holiday's and took my partner's cousin shopping as she wants to recover her couch

It was good and pleasant, the only issue is the lack of trolleys otherwise everything else was great.

Good selection, offers and pricing. Check you are charged the correct amount for items in the clearance bins though.

I wish spotlight displayed all their prices on the shelves as I would probably buy more if I knew what a price was to begin with.

Kind service and always help me when I need it! High quality fabric and craft materials. Definitely my go to for plush toy needs!

The store is well laid out and thoughtfully displayed for all sorts of fabrics and the like. Perhaps a little cluttered in parts but good deals all round.

This store is huge. Sometimes difficult to find material you want. Disappointed with public toilet, was told they're not obliged to provide it. People spend more $ if they can use the toilet.

A wide range of products that is typical of all Spotlight stores. My wife is often buying something here, and I go for a look around. There are plenty of interesting things you just might need for a project one day.
Buyer beware - always ask what the price is before buying and then double check what you are charged at the checkout. They are notorious for not charging the advertised price.

I don't like people mostly! But the people at spotlight townsville are beautiful professional and on the mark when speaking with managers you feel like they care! Really.lol and general staff are friendly courteous and what you would hope to find when needing professional service or attention. Thank you spotlight townsville.
