Excellent service at Albert St Specsavers, friendly staff & a great selection of glasses.

Not kids welcome. Told us to go to another optometrist instead, after we arrived on time after we booked and confirmed on the phone. Couldn’t find our records even they got our details incorrectly. Told us we have never been there even we have. No apologies afterwards. Bad serviced, rude and unprofessional. The optometrist we saw is nice and patient.

Fantastic service, attentive friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Specsavers, can’t recommend them highly enough. They have a great range of frames and they always have deals. I paid half the price I’d normally pay at other optometrists and I got two quality pairs of glasses.

Wonderful service - I had lost one of the nose pieces on my glasses making them very uncomfortable and they were replaced immediately with no charge!

Although I have long been a customer of Specsavers, on the recommendation of a friend I went to another optometrist and got a new prescription. I had issues with the glasses made up from that prescription which that optometrist fixed saying that he 'redesigned the lens'. He didn't tell me that my prescription (set by him) was actually wrong, and he had had to amend it.

In the meantime, I went to Specsavers in Albert St to get some inexpensive computer specs based on the new (wrong) prescription. When the glasses arrived, it was immediately apparent that something was wrong. I couldn't even read my computer screen.

I called the first optometrist and asked if my prescription had been changed after the issue I had had. I was told that yes - my prescription had changed.

I went back to Specsavers in Albert St and was able to explain to them why the glasses they had made up for me were wrong. I was prepared to pay for new lenses.

Because of all the contradictory prescription information, Specsavers gave me another eye test with only a 20-minute wait They then re-made the two pairs of computer specs for me WITHOUT CHARGE even though the problem with those glasses had not been their fault at all.

Lisa, Allison and their team led by Vicky take the time to understand your lifestyle and identity - then challenge you to choose lenses and frames that will genuinely enhance them. Plus they're FUN. I always make the effort to visit this particular franchise for my annual specs upgrade, because I leave each appointment feeling seen and confident - a pretty rare and wonderful thing in the anonymous online shopping age! Visited Specsavers in Albert street the staff were awesome, the pre test was different as I had never had the machine where they take a picture of the eye (and this was included) the sight test was very professional then came the difficult part picking glasses with so many to choose from and such helpful and truthful staff we picked out the frames and lenses in half an hour which ment I got back to work on time.
Picking up was a dream they text to let me know they were ready I booked a collection appointment at the time I needed and they fitted them I am a first time multifocal wearer they took the time to show me how to use them and explained they could take a couple weeks to get use too.
Amazingly I was only $200 out of pocket for two pairs
I will be back next year when my health fund rolls over

If you're Asian trust me, no one will assist you here. They'll just stand around the corner and look at you. I was standing in register for 10 minutes. No welcome even say hey how can I help.

I recently had my glasses paid $500 plus for a transition, but they gave me a Polarized one. Luckily before my other pair will arrive, that lady rectified my order and got the other one that is not polarized. Now, I get inside the store and the staff is MIA. Will have my specs in another eye shop. Service is non-existent, and to think this is my third time and still being treated the same.

Amazing service from Lisa at the store. She helped me choose two great pairs of glasses and encouraged me to to update my image. I now feel super confident wearing them, Thank you!

Absolute disorganisation.
Decided on the frames and ordered and paid. Eventually received message that my glasses had arrived and to make appointment to pick them up. Proceeded to make appointment. Received multiple messages reminding me of that appointment only to find out, once I arrived for it, that they did not have my glasses after all.no message ever sent to me re: this, only the ones telling me that they were expecting me to turn up!
Loss of boxes with glasses was all I was told. New ones were ordered, but they didn't turn up fast either. The sunglasses ordered were obviously very quickly made without care of head measurements or anything as lots of adjusting were to be made once arrived. This will be the last time I will be a Specsavers client. This has happened before. So farewell.

These guys are definitely worth 5 stars, would give 6 stars if I could when it comes down to customer service.
I have taken my glasses back a couple of times for repairs, and if it's not too involved they do it for free- on the spot.
Been going there for about 4 years and have always been satisfied with their service

Very bad experience from this store. I was 5 minutes late for an eye test. The receptionist was very helpful and asked the manager if they could squeeze in but she denied. I will need to schedule another booking now. Poor customer service

Sure you may have to wait a week for your glasses but that: s normal these days

My eye test is completely wrong. They said eye lenses are different than glasses, but that is not an excuse for me to have a different formula than my current one, I paid 75 aud for my exam and now I have to go somewhere else to be checked out again because I don't trust them anymore. I need glasses and contact lenses urgently. So dissapointed

Today I made my 5th Visit to Specsavers, Albert Street, Brisbane. As per my previous 4 visits I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff, who made me feel like a special customer. The glasses that I collected were as per promised and once again the service was awesome.
A huge thank you to the Management and staff of what is now my favourite Specsavers Store in Queensland.
