Great selection of both quality and budget souvenirs. Great atmosphere too. We found some great stuff to take home for friends and family.

Before travelling to the Gold Coast I researched the best places for souvenirs. I found this place but was apprehensive after seeing some of the reviews left. We ended up having a beach day and had a look through the Oasis. I’m extremely glad we did; highlight of my trip. The lady with pink hair was so lovely, my 3 year old loved her so much and has been asking to go back since we left. The young lady that works there didn’t stop smiling. Such a great team. Cannot recommended any higher. 5 stars isn’t enough. (I believe the negative reviews must have been left by nasty people with nothing better to do)

I visited your shop this morning and have never felt so bad for the two staff members behind the counter. The lady that was so rude and the man with her was so aggressive my heart sank for you. I could see you were trying to hold it together.
I brought my daughters 2 beach towels and key rings which they adore.
I don’t normally post reviews but felt I had too. After what I witnessed I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the the time you took with my kids who couldn’t decide what they wanted.
The two ladies were lovely and so helpful when my children were changing there minds 50 times
I will definitely be returning when back in Broadbeach.

What an awful experience I had. The lady with coloured hair just yelled at me, telling me she has worked in retail for 20 years and that I missed used a product I bought there and did not reach my expectations and I can’t even have my money back. Let me tell you if you have that experience in retail you wouldn’t even treat like that a customer. What a disgusting attitude.

I bought a smoothie cup in lilac and the liquid went out, I just wanted my money back. At the end I preferred to leave it the cup there because she was mean, awful and really I won’t recommend anybody to buy from that store.

If I could I actually will give you 0 stars.

Harbour Town store. I was going to buy two hoodies which one of them had very visible thread defects on each shoulder area. I went to the short hair lady and asked if she could give me a discount for the faulty one. She looked at me and said: Do you know how much they are? Asking me twice in a row. And she sarcastically smiled and nodded her head. I said to her that I knew the price cos it was right there and that item was going to be very difficult for them to sell it like that. I said I wouldn’t buy it if no discount were given. She said Ok and she put the faulty one away. She continued nodding her head and sarcastically smiling while folding the second hoodie. As she was folding it I spotted a stain at the back on the second hood. Them I let her know and I decided to buy none of the hoodies. I left the store and she lost her sale.
I was impressed wit her rude answer and she could have just said: sorry, it has already a discounted price or something like that. But sarcastically smiling and nodding her had during a sale is not a good behaviour when you work with customers. She definitely need to find another job or be trained how to answer the customers in a nice way. Advice to owner: Do a mistery shop and you will see with your own eyes. Won’t be back there and won’t recommend at all

Wow. What an unbelievable experience my poor 6 yr old was subjected to during a visit to Souvenirs Direct in the Broadbeach Oasis Shopping mall store. Unfortunately he was forced to witness a disgusting outburst from the bitter, sour and plain nasty old, coloured haired woman that works here. As his finger tips touched the little wooden train we heard the old woman shout “Don’t touch that”. I replied that we couldn’t make the purchase if we aren’t allowed to touch it. Her response, “someone more deserving will buy it”. Amongst other hideous remarks. She even went as far as threatening to ban him from the store. Nothing was broken, we were in the store for 30 secs max, his fingers touched the calendar for 2 seconds. Crazy. It was actually sad to see- the woman is clearly struggling mentally to make strange remarks towards an innocent child. But this type of behaviour, mental illness or not is not acceptable when aggression is aimed at a child. The owner of the store has been in contact since and instead of being apologetic, they have out right denied the entire situation even happened. Take responsibility! There’s multiple NEGATIVE reviews on here regarding the staff member in question- all reviews are eerily similar, as the majority involve the mistreatment of young children. DISGUSTING.

The lady with coloured hair has a horrible temper and she doesn’t know how to handle situations well. She needs to learn how to be a store employee as a person. She yelled at a 12 year old and called security on her because she broke a tiny $4 glass and took a run. Instead of actually confronting her and having a calm conversation she yelled at her with bad language saying and told us we had to leave the whole mall. How extra. She needs to get a grip. Anyways it was the highlight of my trip. -nozzlethefrog

What a disgrace. The old woman shopkeeper threw us out of the shop at 5.50pm (the shop closes at 6pm) by very rudely telling us that she was closing. Do NOT shop here. My young son was desperate to get a souvenir from from his holiday so we rushed to the shop before it closed

They a very well stocked with all souvenirs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I though the variety was very good compared to other shops in the area-which there is almost no other shops for souvenirs.
