My son suffers from severe anxiety he has been going to Southside for many months now I’ve noticed massive changes not only in his anxiety but behaviour also the coaches have a lot of patients couldn’t recommend them enough in what they have taught my son

I am new to BJJ and wrestling and found this a great place to begin around other white belts and high level belts. Great atmosphere, coaches and members to push you, share knowledge and learn.

Great motivation to see lots of members competing and other white belts up their game quickly.

A friend and I dropped in for a seminar by Kit Dale and the STC staff were welcoming.

Plenty of parking up and down the street and the venue is easy to find.

Ladies and mens bathrooms (separate) with showers.

Rolls are solid and pack your sense of humour!

A return visit is on the cards!

Joining STC has been the best decision of my life! The coaches and members made me feel extremely welcome after spending 5 years not training any form of martial arts, they have classes catering from beginners to advanced and would highly recommend this gym to anyone who's looking to start or return to martial arts!

You’d be hard pressed to find a gym with better coaching, facilities and culture.
MMA/BJJ classes are amazing and coaches are happy to help you achieve, wether you want to compete or train for fun. Southside has a super encouraging environment and all my training partners have been kind and respectful. One of my favourite places to train!

I came to STC for a free trial two months ago and have been coming everyday since. From the day I started, I knew straight away that this was more than just a community at some gym, the coaches here genuinely care about their students and my training partners are very kind and respectful. It was so good here that I also had to bring my little brother for the kids classes and he’s loving it. 10/10 would reccomend.

First time in a BJJ class. From being a boxer it was truely humbling Having Major (coach/Sensei) flip me with ease. I at least 50kg on him & that’s mind crazy strength. Overall Great facilities. Great gym & atmosphere. Gym is on the horizon for big things so much talent & youth.

Our 3 children have been training at South side for only 12 weeks and already the improvement they are showing is incredible.
The knowledge and understanding they are displaying on the art of jiu-jitsu, is a testament to the dedication, patience and expertise of the coaches.

The facilities are clean and well designed. A friendly face can always be found at the front desk to answer any questions or queries.
